Hello all and thanks for any help.

Ok so, I gave in and bought a cyclone rba. I was so excited to get it and when it came I had a hell of
a time just getting it apart had to do some real work (with tools) to get the o-rings to let go so finally did
and went to build on it and found the ground or neg post was way loose so of course the coil wouldn't
stay put so I tried to tighten the post and when I do the hole for the wire to go in is in the totally wrong
position. I have tried re-screwing it in all kinds of ways but when tight it always ends up in the same position.
So my question is, is there a way to fix this? Thanks

I haven't run into this with a Cyclone but Walter Egos Kanthal shim sounds like it would work to me.

The caps are a bugger to get off when new, once it's off a little juice on the o rings will lubricate it enough where you won't need the jaws of life to remove it. I've found that once broken in, it is tight enough not to come off in your pocket and to screw it down with but not too hard to remove.

I'd like to try that shim thing, sounds good just not sure what to do exactly. It is just so tiny, do you mean
to put a bit of foil or kanthol in the bottom of the hole or down the side? Sorry not sure I'm picturing
it right in my head. It's just so small, don't know how to fit it in there.

Just to make sure we are talking about the same thing, is the post in issue the center post or the outside post?

sound like the negative post,

I think the least frustrating thing for you to do for now may be to learn to build a coil with the existing orientation. for a sing'e coil it shouldn't be so difficult even if you wind up having to insert one leg and then get the coil in close and then wrap the leg half way round the post to get it oriented correctly for the second leg insertion, wind up having to do this on my chalice because I run side mounted coils where the chalice is designed for a center mounted coil. it's not as difficult as it sounds, you don't have to avoid touching the post even, you can wrap it sideways around the post right onto the post with no problems.

^Thanks I just got mine today and was SHOCKED at how much force it required to remove the cap.,

That's why I still have a vamo lol. Gives me the grip needed to get that sucker off those o rings. Perfect for the dirty stuff before it goes on the reo.
