Hey everyone!

New Vaper here, need a point in the right direction.

I've been vaping for about 2 weeks now, and was given about a three week supply of proper nic juice from a buddy. Immediately after purchasing my PV, i placed 2 orders from the U.S. with different vendors that listed shipping to Canada, just in case anything got held up in customs. Both should have arrived by now, and my juice rations are days away from drying up. I'm a pack a day ex-smoker, and haven't had an analog since I started vaping, but I'm starting to worry I'll be back smoking unless I figure something out.

I know it's bad form to post any names around here, so I'm hoping to inspire a PM or two, assuming that's allowed here for this type of thing. Here's what I want to know, and any help would be appreciated!

1) I've read the list of juice suppliers like everyone else online. What I really need to know is what is the most recent place that successfully got a shipment through customs? Or is there a vendor that is aware of the issues and has a way to prevent shipping problems at the border?

2) Has anyone noticed a difference in success rates with orders with different shipping options? Like will I have a better chance if I pay the 24hr express, or am I better off with snail mail? If I could have it here tomorrow, I'd pay for it lol.

Hopefully I didn't piss anyone off by posting this, but I really don't want to smoke anymore. I don't care about the best price, I'm willing to pay for good juice and shipping regardless of the cost. Just trying to get something to Toronto by the end of the week if possible!

Thanks in advance for any help!

Play it safe and order from a Canadian supplier that offers Express shipping.... like Electro-vapors. It will be on your doorstep by tomorrow if you order now, perhaps Thursday.

And stock up. Get extras. I'm learning the hard way. I had three batteries last week. Lost one, and the other two died on me yesterday. I'm screwed - so I'm here to serve as a tale of caution!

Hi Chinner, glad to see you here. You'll get more help than you can ever use with Canadian vapor community !

If you feel in a bind, these posts above are all great options. If you need to get stuff immediately the "workaround" to avoid analogs in pinch would possibly be calling Jack at Happy Vaper - Canada Electronic Cigarettes and E-Liquid, DIY Concentrated Flavorings! and arrange a pick up since you are in the GTA. Jack doesn't sell nic juice but has lots of flavoured e-liquid AND you could get nicotine from the patch at a pharmacy.

Just saying ...

Why are you ordering juice from the states? There are two big vendors up here that sell nic juice online, and a 3rd is about to reopen its doors on May 20th...

Mind PMing me the info?

Hopeing for a vendor in Canada with 100 mg/ml nic. or of segnificant strength to keep me mixing for a while.

I wonder if there's not a way you could make your own with diy at home stuff that you wouldn't have to wait for an online order? I know it wouldn't be good for the e-cig or your health, so I'm not saying this is a permanent solution, but just something that you'd want to use in an atty/carto you're about to throw away anyway maybe. But, I know you can concentrate stuff with those cool chemestry sets from hobby stores. I wonder if you couldn't take some ryo tobacco and make your own juice? You wouldn't have any vapor (though I think you can buy pg/vg in some supermarkets, never done that before). If you found the vg/pg, added a little bit of the concentrated nicotine from the ryo or loose tobacco, ya think that would work? Luckily I have some smoke shops in my area that sell juice that I can run to when I'm low on juice and waiting on my internet order. I was just trying to think up a possible (probably not very probable) solution for those who don't have local shops :) And hey, you probably wouldn't need to flavor it since you got the nic straight out of the tobacco :D

Hey Danes!

Sorry I just haven't gotten to you yet!

I'd love to try some DIY stuff from you! I found someone here in Toronto that's going to set me up short term here, but you can never have enough liquid right? My PV prefers the PG juice, is that going to work for you?

Long story short, I'd Love to try it! I'll post my email. Let me know how you want to arrange everything, how much money you'd want me to email you, and maybe a short list of your favorite flavors?? I generally have been vaping 18mg and 24mg, so I'd prefer something in that strength range!

My email is (email address removed for member safety), and my name is David!

Thank you so much for the offer of help! Everyone on this forum has been great! Hope to hear from you soon!

Cheers,

Dave

I will email you sometime today! Yay another person I get to send my DIY to! I sent some to blondielocs and another newbie ecf person not long ago and got some good feedback. I will be very excited David to give you a list of the things I can make, and you bet, I can totally do PG! And I can do 24mg and higher! I like to vape the 36mg myself! hahahahahahaha
