First I apologize for my English, I am not a native speaker.
Just build my first RDA, picture attached, it has been read as 0.3 ohm, mod is regulated Smok Alien 220w, dual 18650 battery, vape with 70W.
I used to vape on tank, 5,6 continuous vape only make tank warm, I am not saying the vape production, I mean tank itself. But 5,6 continuous vape on this Goon RDA, vape production is just fine but RDA it self got hot, also mod, it is so hot that I have to wait for a while to let it cool. Is this common? Or I am building wrong coil?
I have been learning Ohm law and vaping safety for a while, watched lots of videos, 70 suppose to be ok for 0.3 right, why it make mod so hot?(not whole mod, just the RDA and top part that connect RDA like around 510 pin)

A little hard to tell from the angle of your picture but coil height and a bit heavy on the cotton may be coming into play. A full side shot of your build would be helpful, I personally prefer between 1/2 and 3/4 of my coil above the airflow and keep the bottom of the coil clear enough so the air passes over the coil completely.

A combination of cotton restricting the air which passes over your coil, and the coil a bit low will definitely cause the RDA to heat faster. Enough air passing over the entire coil will keep things much cooler, and if your running airflow shut down at all it will only compound the heating issue.

Definitely agree with all of that. I know with my goon, if I want to actually use it, if the coils are bigger than 3.0mm id it will get hot fast.

Something else that I've noticed is that when you build big exotic coils like those they hold a boat load of heat even after you're done firing.
I've had my goon for a bit over a month and I've been using a screwdriver that I think is about 3mm. What coil id have you found works best for you?

For the Goon 3.0mm id coils are good. Make sure you set the coil height so the airflow hits the coils just on the bottom sides of the coils. Also keep the coils in the middle of the deck so the air can get all around the coils. Don't chain vape and it should be ok.
