I've been vaping for about 3 months now but I've only recently started exploring the different possible juices out there. I've been puffing on Dekang PG Menthol since I started, and I love it. I'm looking to buy in bulk to cut down my costs, but I don't want to get involved with the battle against customs.

I've tried mints and menthols from FSUSA and Blue Mist...I ordered samplers. The FSUSA was a 50/50 mix and the Blue Mists were 80/20 PG/VG. What I noticed most in the samplers I ordered was that they all had a common, hard to define, taste. I almost want to describe it as an absence of taste. In the FSUSA, it was overpowering, and I couldn't taste the menthol flavoring at all. In the Blue-Mist, it's less present, but still there. Is this the "taste" of VG? Does it have a "taste"? For that matter, does anyone have a menthol recommendation that they feel is similar to Dekang's?

I'll appreciate any help anyone can give me. I've been lurking around the site for a while so I figure someone'll know what I'm saying.

If you like Dekang Menthol PG and it doesn't bother you to vape 100% PG, then vape it. If you want PG/VG then see if you can find both their PG version and their VG version, Buy a 30ml bottle of the PG and a 10ml bottles of the VG and mix them to make 75PG/25vg Dekang Menthol

And most of flavor is aroma. The human tongue can only taste 5 things - sweet, salty, sour, bitter and umami (MSG). You need to let some vapor escape your mouth so your nose can catch it on the inhale. Cigarettes bathe you in smoke - ecigs don't so you have to let your nose have some.

Adam,

Try VaporsEtc.com too. They have wonderful samplers and you get 5 3ml bottles for $6.95. I ordered mine in ALL VG and they were extremely flavorful. There wasn't a tepid, unflavored one in the bunch.
Vapors Etc. - Home

I hear good things about JuicyVapor too. They have 10 samples for $22 I think:)

I don't know anything about Menthols. Some like Backwoods Brew's. Some like Halocig's menthols.

Another place I have found some nice juices is Velvet Vapors - I get their Velvet Blend PG/VG and you can get 5 samples for $12.95. I love their Vanilla Almond Tobacco (mostly Vanilla Almond) and their Raspberry Ginger Ale is the reason I went there - it is awesome. They have plain Ginger Ale too.

I just started vaping in the last few weeks. Been using TheVaporPro and their line of juices. Very happy. So happy, ordered all the accessories that were available, received my initial shipment and now a week later just ordered a boat load of flavors to start trying them out. Pina Colada, amazing so far. 24Mg Custom Blend. Perfect TH and great scent and taste.
