Upon refilling many of my carts,
i have noticed that some look pristine after use still....
ie: polyfill is "neat" and "well organized"
middle "tube section" is well wrapped and such

now i know how to re-align the polyfill just fine..

but on some carts i have noticed that...

..... the middle "tube section" is seemingly been unraveled a bit
or raised up higher than the filler
or just not as tightly nit

...my question is:
Is this from overvaping a cart (causing damage to it)... just want to know if i should pull off a cart sooner..
..or all some just not built equally?

...note..
on the "in question" carts, they still work Ok for the most part after refilled...and definetly worked just fine on the initial use

I've noticed this on some. Just how some turn out from the factory. They vape just the same. Sometimes when popping the mouth piece off i've dug a little too deep and disturbed this area, they could be the problem too. You never can tell what's going on in there til you start poking around. So it can just be going too deep with your tool as well.

In my experience it could be because of a couple of things: manufacturing variance; user error (accidentally snaging it when prying off a cart top - I've done this!); and simple washing and wear-and-tear. I have had new carts come with the nylon wick (or whatever it is, but that's what it looks like..) already above the polyfill, and it seemed to vape fine (at least on that first vape.)
I have noticed on some carts that I have used repeatedly, that the center piece does seem to raise (or the polyfill shrinks, or both??) Now, in my experience anyway, this seems to eventually kill the cart (or at least it's effectiveness.) Now I am not sure if that piece is a wick, or if it also serves as some sort of rigid tube to make sure that air can be passed through the cart better - my guess is it's both. But I have had carts that have been completely full, and little to no vapor production, or bad/off/burnt flavor, etc. The only thing I could narrow it down to was the possible misalignment of the center tube. If it was only present in heavily refilled carts, I would assume the cart simply died from overuse. But I have had this happen on the second refill of a few carts, and they were all rendered unusable.
Of course, it is only in my opinion that the fault of the cart was in the misalignment of the center tube (seeing as how it worked fine on first use), but I didn't take the carts completely apart, and it is entirely possible the malfunction was with the cart production itself, or user error (at some point in the cleaning/refilling process.) As for myself now, I don't take the chance anymore - any cart that I notice which has the center tube pulled or moved out of the polyfill when I refill gets tossed...
