help with vertical coil build in manger aerotank please!

Ive been reading on here for a few days but couldn't find anything other than how to build a vertical coil on the manger aerotank. So I went ahead and did it but have been getting a gurgling spitting problem... I ripped apart 5 coils and tried probably 30 times to no avail.

I run one of these vertical coils in my kayfun but was never able to get one working in pro or aerotank, my advise, go horizontal

My thinking was that maybe the 4 air holes that are there just allow too much fluid to seep in at once causing it to flood... But I don't have a solder gun so I'll have to figure out another way to possibly plug it up

What ratio of juice are you using? I rebuild to vertical here is my thread on it if you have not already read it

I use a 50/50 juice with Japanese cotton packed really tight around the coil and it works well for me

I use 28 ga Wrapped 8 times and then Japanese cotton wrapped enough to fit snug inside the coil head. The MAIN thing I've seen in order to keep from leaking into the tube or base is the cotton HAS to be fill the coil head top to bottom. There can't be a gap between the chimney and there can't be a gap at the base. I completely leave the wicking ring off when I rebuild and vape everything from super thick Pink Rabbit which is 85% Vg to a 40% Vg local juice without leaking, gurgling, or dry hits.
Try taking your wicking ring off with needle nose pliers and make sure there are no gaps between your cotton and head.
