hey ecf!!! a few questions to maybe set me on my journey!!my trail and error journey is all errors and a ton of frustrations...i really need some advice here... i am new to vaping and have moved from analogs about 5 weeks ago...i have tried the aspire bdc tank, the kanger pro tank, the smok carto tank with smok cartos..and i am burning threw coils fast..how come...tried using them till they died..i have tried using them for a bit and clean them out(i was told my juice really gunks up coils and wicks) but still no real life out of them..i follow some charts i have found for proper volt settings and still losing a coil(cartos start leaking after a days use too) a day or at the most they may survive 2 days but nothing more,is this normal or just my vaping habits...i use a juice from flavor crafters called smurf juice(sour black raspberry (my all day vape) its a 85 vg 15 pg blend...ive been told to thin out my juice but being a noob i have no clue how to do that and keep the same taste!!!i'm open to any suggestions for tank set ups or any advice i can be given...again thanks for your time.!!!!!!!!!!!

unless you have a problem with PG i would go with a minimum 50/50 blend for tanks. most tanks can't wick that really thick juice quick enough to keep and most likely that is what is gunking up your coils. i'm afraid any method i am aware of for thinning juice will also cut your flavor considerably. probably best to try a different (higher) pg juice.70/30 pg/vg worked well for flavor and wicking when i used tanks. good luck.

If you could also post up the resistance of the coils you are using and the voltage you are using on your APV too please. Too little voltage is almost as bad as too much as this can really gunk up your coils and cause the issues you are mentioning.

When I used to use clearos I could get a few weeks out of a coil head. That was mainly vaping darker, sweeter juices and just doing a clean every 2-3 tanks and dry burning every few days.

my pulls vary to be truthful but i would say no more than 5-6 seconds on average shorter than that....ohms vary..i have tried 1.9 to 2.5 varying the voltage as needed lower ohms lower volts higher ohms higher volts..dont know if thats right but more or less what i was taught at nearest b&m shop close by...if the coil is 1.9 ohms i usually vape between 3.4 and 3.7 volts .if im using 2.5 ohms i usually run between 3.9 to 4.2 volts

i was told at b&m shop around the corner that its no use really to dry burn such small coils like the aspire coils...if this worked for you how would i go about dry burning these coils(i know it is such a noob question but i had to ask)
