Helping the homeless is a wonderful thing. I myself have a young adult son who is mentally ill and sometimes chooses to go that route. I guess its not really a choice. If he is not on meds,he cant handle rules and requirements or keep a job. He ends up on the street and wont come back because he cant deal with being in a busy household. I guess we make him uncomfortable. I wish I could understand better and know how to help him more. It breaks my heart. Being on meds,he says makes him feel dead. He says it just feels wrong, but without meds he is angry and can be aggressive and it scares my younger kids. I cant put them in danger either. Very hard for a mom to deal with. He does not get disability or medicaid so when we try to help him it gets very expensive very quickly. Today he is at home. Tomorrow he may leave. Its hard to handle either way. I dont know why I posted all this. Guess I just needed to share and say Thank you for your efforts to help. Every little thing you do makes a huge difference. The homeless need to be treated with respect. They need to feel that people care. Thanks.

im still breathin... i am having another surgery and i hope this is the last... its the final lumbar surgery..

my body is getting a bit tired and i think its been too much stress on it.. i know its been a bit rough on me.. as soon as i start to feel better i get laid up again..

they laughed at matthews hope when i showed up to teach the day after my last surgery.. its things like that i have to learn not to do..

i am not handing out any more starter kits for a bit but am maintaining the 60+ that are handed out..

i am still mixing juice and giving three cartos a week if they are using the standard (long) 1.7's

i give two cartos if they are using the bigger ones.. (mega single coil) kirk has been one of my helpers and sits on a bunch of cartos and juice so the folks on his side of town have easy access..

i get calls 24/7 and i just cant do it anymore.. not just for ecigs.. its more like arrested, drunk, beat up, wind blew the tent away, racoons stole my food and im lonely type stuff...

battery failure has been an issue as well as theft.. drunken stupidity has also played out.. ( i dont miss those days..)

thanks for all the good thoughts.. i do have vids of some new vapors... i just have to make them smaller. not edit nut just scale down the definition..

be blessed, be safe..

each and everyone of you are appreciated and loved..

i feel maaaaavulus...LOL (well, almost maavulus) :)

I'm pretty new on the forums, but I followed the link in your sig. Haven't watched any videos or read through the whole thread (TL:DR) but have you thought about maybe doing some kind of crowdsourcing through something like an indiegogo fundraiser? With the right videos and presentation you might be able to get a little bit of funding and support from people outside the forum. Kickstarter only does creative projects, but indiegogo has a charity-health section and helping the homeless quit smoking cigarettes is certainly something I think people will be interested in.

:) Something to think about while you're recovering, and while I don't pray, you've got supportive thoughts and hope coming from Mississippi!

kezy.. its hard on families.. no easy answer or magic wand to fix it.. thanks so much for sharing a part of you..

samazon.. the ecig thing isnt really my focus.. it just sort of happened. i have so much trouble with keeping up the demands of finding underwear, food, medical for our friends who live outside the ecigs was a fliuke..

times are hard for everyone. im stil amazed by the help ECF folks have extended.. a few of our homeless have been kickin in some change for their juice.. it is a dignity issue for them..

ill keep thinking and figuring for now..

so, does anyone have 100 2 man tents? LOL

have a great weekend.. we are getting ready for a hurricane here..

Brother Frankie, so I don't have to go digging all through the thread to find it, can you post your address again? I've got 2 eGo 650mah batteries here that never get used (they're not VV) and would like them to go where they're needed.
