Helping the Homeless (dont know where to post)

this week i handed out another 10 sets of batts.. alot of juice.. kerc is still in school except he is getting a bit wishy washy..
i have (well not me but..) 8 people sober for longer than 90 days and a few going on a year..
another in a rehab where we got his rotator cuff repaired. we all chipped in for his medical stay. cant have surgery and go back to living under a bridge.. roberto is his name.. i am looking for a guitar for him. he plays well.. sober for almost 8 months.. no longer smokes at all... its workin folks..
i love ya and pray for you guys..
the staff laughs and asks where this or that came from... i say, the bronx, vegas, min, mi, RI, georgia, texas, philly, florida.....etc..

just received an 86 dollar donation from a coop on this site... cool stuff goin on..
i have surgey on the 17th for those that bend a knee.. my last i pray.. its a biggy and i really dont want to go..LOL i wont be able to do anything.
i love that this thread proves we CAN just all get along.. muslims, athiests, blacks, whites, latin, 810, 510, tanks, carts, christian, boys, girls and undecideds... even the ill tell ya later dont ask dont tell folks ...

Great news about your folks. Hope Kerc remains firm in his efforts, he's doing so great and has made such huge progress!!
Hope your surgery goes very well for you! Wish you didn't have to go through even more of it, and hope also it is the very last. Prayers for you and what you're doing, always!

i had my "big" surgery two weeks ago.. i have not been around much. i am learning to walk again. im doing well.. my first day out of the house was yesterday (thursday). I was not a planned outing as i am supposed to be in a chair or bed for another 2-4 week.
i was asked to do a funeral for another of our friends who passed away.. i could not turn it down..
if you see the vid my walker is close behind me and i took some major pain meds to ba able to stand in the pulpit..
I am holding off on new start up sets for our friends.. we have alot of homeless vaping and i need to step back and just see how this works out.. I have some carto (i picked up another few hundred 1.7 resurecters myself.) I have been mixing juice from the big dobation of 100 MG stuff a vendor who asked to remain anon donated..
I have noticed there is a problem with these people being responsible in caring for the equipment. I wxplain that its not for when u cant afford ciggs, its to replace cigss.. (the metality of addiction.. arghhh)
i want this to level off for a bit and see if its something to consider realisticly.. I have had so many people from ECF help and am grateful..

Okey Dokeys !We can be pretty forgiving of a few typos and lack of presence as long as you continue to heal and thrive. Just take care of yourself. Try not to get too upset about the vaping situation among the homeless. Every time they choose to vape rather than smoke, they are improving their lives. It does have an impact, bro, we just don't always know what it is or what it will be. Try to let go of the outcome.
Just concentrate on getting yourself well BrotherFrankie, everything else will fall into place after that. So glad to hear from you !
