Helping the Homeless (dont know where to post)

I was trying to read the input and output on the wall charger that I have but even with glasses, I can't see it lol

I think that they might be better off sticking with what we know will work. Problems have been known to arise using the wrong chargers for batteries.

With their discount, those should only cost a few bucks.

I can't read mine either... Even with my cheaters.

i am at the HC website firguring the order. A few of the reasons i was going with the smaller and cheaper batts:

* size easier to carry as well as conceal or fit in an eyeglass case.. (i need hard cases from eyeglasses)
* loss factor.. i would love to get a lava tube for all these guys. truth is, they lose everything or it gets wet or stolen.
* replacement cost

i have decided to split it between 650 and 1000 mah (the most stable guys/gals get the 1000 and others have to prove themselves...LOL)

cartos will be the closest to the resurector xl 1.7 i can find. (like crystal clear vapes sells) unless someone has a better idea. these are the ones that we have been using and going on week they are still vaping clean..

i will also grab a few of the mega carts for less topping off..

You do not have to have money to help. You do not have to have anything monetary to help. All you have to do is what you are doing. Encouraging those around you and sending positive thoughts to those less fortunate. I believe that you will remember this thread and if the day every comes that you can help someone in need you will do it

Funny you should mention the loss factor because I was actually thinking about that as I packed up the box that I sent today lol It sounds like you have a good plan though.

Those Ego carry cases work well and are fairly inexpensive. The eyeglass cases may be less expensive, I don't know. They also make inexpensive lanyards for the Ego sized batteries that work well because they hang from your neck. Much harder to lose that way.

I use the mega dual coils made by Smok Tech. I also get mine from HC during a sale (go in on a large order with friends) and they come out to $5.25 per box of 5. I use the 2.0 ohm but I use a VV mod and vape around 5V.

I thought about a few of the LTs too (I am in a coop right now and they are pretty cheap) but then you have to get batteries and chargers so it could add up fast.

By now you have probably placed your order and I hope that you were able to get enough supplies to get everyone that wants to try vaping a good start.

Also, I was just reminded by that list to tell you that I only had two cones to send with the 5 batteries but they are fine to use without the cone. I actually liked using them without the cone better.

We had 3 kits, so 6 batteries. Each kit came with 2 batteries and 1 cone. My mom still has 1 battery and 1 cone. That is why it worked out a little odd. My mom quit vaping but I am hopeful that she will find her way back to it one day so I left her with 1 battey and 1 cone

I am also glad to see the drip tips. I totally fogot to add those to my package. The cartos can get hot.

One last thing is that I don't see the Vgo charger on the list. I only had 1 charger to send with 5 batteries but they could use the one for the 650 mah Ego with an adapter to charge them.

i am a pastor (a vaping biker pastor, but i do own a lil white collar. Heh)

I have been vaping past few months around all my friends who live outside AKA homeless folks.. many of these homeless are vets and just families that have landed on hard time due to economy.

I run the addiction recovery part as well as do one on one counseling. I visit camps, give rides to doctor appointments etc.. a lil bit of everything without banging them in the head with a bible..

So, here is my problem. Many of these people smoke those really cruddy lil cigars that smell like funky underwear. they cost a buck or two a pack and have to be the most unhealthy thing i have ever tried to smoke.

A few of these vets have been asking about vaping. i have given a few my stash of apollo disposables and they loved it. one guy made i last for a week. i told hime he was sucking filler and threw it out, he said it tasted better than the clippers and buts he picked up off ground around shopping centers. (that is a common practice,picking up butts folks throw on ground, collect as many as u can, then re-roll)

I am trying to figure out the best way i can help these guys and gals.. if i had some cheep way to help a few i would keep them supplied with juice.

I cant use the donations that come in because most christians would have a fit if we helped the homeless smoke.. i wont even go there what i went thru being a pastor. to me smoking is not sinful but paying 10 bucks a pack is..

Any ideas? i have some 50 DC cartos i will part with if need be.. im fairly new to vaping even tho i have a stash as big as some of the old timers. its a great hobby and distraction to me and i am enjoying it..

I will also give the heads up when my group is ready to place another order with HC. Probably in a month or two.

BTW- I plan to keep sending what I can to help. I make all of my own juice and will make some to send. I have a feeling that the juice that I sent yesterday may last a little wihile lol
