How long is it gonna take? You are awesome Nikinic! Being the financial officer of this movement is a HUGE job!!
This is the first time I have ordered from HC so I really do not know. I am saying three weeks cuz thats what I have read around here but it is just a guess. And thank you:)

I was simply in the right place at the right time. Just following the path that was set before. I think everyone of you are awesome. Not a single person has attacked this thread or question anyone's intentions. In today's world that is so rare. I am blessed to have "met" everyone of you!

Stick around, Nikinic. You will see that the entire ECF community is like this. We have pulled together for many good causes over the years that I have been here. This is an amazing community.

We usually place large orders through HC and get them in about two weeks. Hopefully the case will be the same here too.

I just wanted to publicly thank Brother Frankie for bringing this to our attention, and being willing to ask for help in what could have been a less than friendly environment, Nikinic for taking on the HUGE responsibility of the financial aspect of the donations, and of course, everyone who has contributed in whatever way they could.

Once again the generosity and kindness of this community astounds me, and I am grateful to have the opportunity to be a small part of it.

LOL, don't be nervous. My experience has always been fast shipping with them. You will have that order faster than you know :)

i really, really , really want to list all the names of the folks that posted here, sent juice, goodie boxes, care packs...

but i do have funerals, weddings, rehabs, and a few classes i teach and dont have the time to get to that..

i will try to send thank yous to each person..

we rcvd..

couple hundred MLjuice
a KGO kit (grizzly got that one.. loves it)
assorted lil batteries (skinnies i call them)
Chargers for the lil ones
Juice samples
a few tips
Pipettes
empty 10 ML bottles
carto's (20 1.7 CCV) and few other random ones..
(fishing tackle box and 9lb test line) LOL, hey it goes with the fishing pole for the guy i posted about

its fun to go to mailbox and be surprised every day.. i know more is on its way.

just so people know i did send $$ to the fund too.. (as well as my carts, a tank, my phone charger, my wifes phone charger... etc..)

i want to caution everyone that going into homeless camps alone can be dangerous.. please please never go alone, females dont go without a male..

for the most part our friends outside are just like you and I.. some are not.. they are people with co-occuring mental disorders with several addictions that make them unsafe and unstable..

I have been assaulted a few times and know of woman being raped by men they knew for more than ten years..

Homeless do not want to be made to feel like they are an oddity or a tourist attraction..

When you engage themm in conversation be a listener. Just let them talk to you.. Dont ask, "so why are you homeless" instead ask, have any kids? what do you like to do? tell me about ____________ baseball, football, fishing, talents, gifts, cars..

okay, i will get to all the PM's and emails when i get a few..

I started another guy off (vaping) on a gas station microtek yesterday with 10 prefilled carts.. (i had no batts to give out and this was available) he was so happy i promised him he will be on top of list when i get more batteries.. he has one eye BTW, i always tell him to stop winking cause it makes me blush...heh

later folks thanks so much

I can not speak for others, though I do believe most of us feel this way. We do not need our names listed or a personalized email thanking us. For me this is not about recognition, rather it is about doing what I feel was the right thing. I am human and have had my fair share of bad times, if I am being honest, most of them I brought on myself. Doing this has gotten me out of myself, I am not dwelling on my own misfortune rather I am putting that time to better use. For this I thank you for starting this thread, asking for some advice and helping us to help them. My faith in humanity has been restored. To see strangers that have never and will never meet band together so selfishly has been a true miracle and exactly what I needed at this time in my life.

I agree with the post above completely. I am excited that the supplies are going to help people but it is not necessary for personal thanks at all. I think that we all know they will be put to good use and that is why we sent what we were able to send :)

ETA- I have to say that I do not think that any of us have been inspired to go out and meet and greet the homeless by this thread.

Also, I would hope that most of us would have enough common sense in the situation of meeting anyone that happens to be homeless not to ask how they got there. After all, most would not ask a person in a similar situation how they got there. As example a person that just lost a loved one. Most of us would not question how the loved one died. JMO :)

u would be surprised how many people are asking me about going to homeless camps. i just wanted to put up a warning.. i get volunteers at Matthews Hope that think they are helping and are being ripped off..

asking how they got to where they are is OK when you become a friend. i start off with, "hey, know any good homeless jokes?" but most that have not met me know who I am by the Bike and word of mouth... u should see the politically correct crowd when they here that line.... OK ill shut up.. look blow for something cool..

Keep up the good work Brother Frankie and let us know what you need for your people. Thanks for allowing us to share this with you. I, like Salemgold, will NOT be going into any homeless camps any time soon and don't have the opportunity to help this population very often. I really am grateful that I could be a part of it. The updates are really nice, though. :)

I should have asked about the soap/shampoo/toothbrushes. I save them for the womens shelter in my area and I just decided to throw them in the box at the last minute. I am glad that they can be put to good use though.

It will go to good use

Kerc was so happy to get an upgrade. He is so concerned about waste he refused some fresh cartos and insisted he would boil his funked ones. LOL.

I stole his bad ones and gave him 4-5 more.

I am not a carto cleaner in general but will start re-cycling and see how it goes. I just did twenty of my own and they just aren't the same but not bad..

Two more guys on Friday. Also some ministry staff asked about vaping. Ill set them up online or at esmokeronline which is here in Orlando.

Has anyone friended me on facenook from here?

Goodnight my friends...
