I just sent a FB friend request (my name is Lorna). That was a great article about Matthew's Hope and all that is done. What my church does is just a drop in the bucket compared to what you guys are doing down there!
I don't think that there is a deadline. I will fw the address to you. I already told BrotherFrankie that I would share it with friends that want to help.

This thread is amazing! I hope to contribute in time when finances and excess permit.
I tried to convince my Homeless Brother to try vaping for years. When he finally decided to try it, it was too late. Between his Reynauds, Heart Problems, Bad eyesight, Schitzophrenia, and Drug Addictions, it was difficult finding a good mod for him that he could refill easily, charge fast at the soup kitchen, and be easy to replace whenever stolen or confiscated. Anything with needles was out of the question. Anything with tiny cartos was out of the question. Reo's were about the only thing that would be easy for him to refill... but the cost of replacing was prohibitive for me. So... I finally just went with a Volt kit for him, and decided to keep the bottles of juice with me so they couldn't be tampered with, and refill 100 cartos for him each visit. I wish you guys were here when he needed you, and thank God you are here now for others with special conditions. It's so crazy true how the cops tear up their tents, toss their backpacks, and have zero respect for the few possesions they do own. My brother couldn't be treated in the NA because he was also Schitzo, and he couldn't be treated in the Mental Institution because he was also a drug addict. Landlords were scared to take him in, our hands were tied with small children in the house (not a good idea to have him around them), and so much more. Long story short, thank you for reaching out to those who need our help continuously. Kudos!
Thank you, Frankie. My heart needed that. The in-law side of the family and even all my so-called irl friends totally ignored his death... no condolence at all... they just smuggly feel that they're finally not being panhandled to death anymore and everyone's in a better place now. I feel so sorry for them. They only saw the desperate side of his life, not his real side, his great side.
I needed that little hug. Thank you.
I haven't seen your videos yet, but will look them up when I have a little more time soon.
This past year, I've been listening to the Loveline show on the radio, and I've learned so much. The most important being that I, and my immediate family, should have been going to NA. That NA is for the family of the addicted, and they teach the family (loved ones) how to cope, how to help, how to not help, and so much more. I wish I would have learned that lesson years ago.
Keep up the good work, and I'll be donating when I can.
