Hey everybody, I'm glad to be here, and I'm hoping I can get some advice from some vaping vets!
I've been vaping a blu cig for the last 6 days, and while it does take the edge off of the cravings, I have several problems with it. First and foremost is the vapor volume, there's just not enough of it, no matter how long I sit there puffing it, not to mention that the volume goes down sharply after the first few hours. I try to make the cartridges last a day and a half at least (I wasn't a very frequent smoker to begin with) but on the second day I'm tired of just sucking in air. I'm sure you all know the other complaints with blu, battery life, crappy cartridge technology (that damn foil), etc. So on my next paycheck this friday I'm hoping to buy a new one, and of course what better place to go for advice?
I'll try to be as specific as possible with what I'm looking for so I can get the best device I can. Most importantly, I want TONS of vapor. I love a strong throat hit and that's what I'm really missing right now from analog cigarettes. There's simply not enough vapor in these skimpy blus. Secondly I would definitely like easily refillable reusable cartridges. Buying e-juice is cheaper than replacement cartridges by a long shot, and it has more flavor and nicotine options. Size and color are less important, but I would like a black device if possible.
Thanks guys, I look forward to hearing your responses.

Considering that I also started out with something similar to the BLU, but possibly a bit better, here is a thread I wrote a while back when i got my EGO to compare. It is useful as it will compare it to something similar to what you have now...admittedly from my perspective, but still...

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...comparison-vs-store-e-cigs-newbie-advice.html

One of the main points was that i was VERY concerned whether my EGO would be the same as what i had....and be done with the whole ecig thing... not really the extra money spent on it.

If you cannot return the blu or just want to keep it. Get 306 cartos! The vapor is excellent. Also holds much more liquid than a blu cart.
I find the battery lasts longer too. i think from not having to work so hard to get vapor.

I mainly use mods, but started using my blu again when vendors started selling 306 cartos. I can use it as long as I have a big battery back up.

I just started too and im using the xhale 02 system and I get tons of vapor from them. But I find myself smoking it like freak and plowing through carts. So im gonna start refilling the plastic carts with a stronger nicotine level. But for 20 bucks its not a bad buy. I bought a second starter kit but its black and its called the ehookah cause I love the feel of smoking and seeing the vapor but the xhale system with flavors aside from tobbaco and menthol dissent have nicotine but tons if vapor. So refilling the carts seems to be my best option before I upgrade to the eGO. Just my two cents here

Ego! Don't think about it, don't hesitate to get it! its going to be an UPGRADEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE from the blu to be honest the blue is a POS and you should give it to a family member that is smoking or a close friend a genuine ego kit is all you need + egos that use a 510 connection have a lot of accessories that you can add to the pv to fine tune it ( lr atty, mega carts/cartos ) you wont be disappointed trust me... I had a blu

the battery lasts WAYY longer so you can have one that lasts all day ( depending on how much you vape but its pretty much a good days worth + u can upgrade the battery size for like $20 )

considering the blu has a pcc that's the only thing going for it. but now egos have pcc but its a little bit bulkier I believe but you wont need it with a kit that comes with 2 batteries n such here go to this like this is where I purchased my ego they also warranty their devices http://www.liberty-flights.com/product.asp?id=40

Sadly you missed the $39.99 special but LF is always doing something nice + everything is 20% off right now
*****EDIT****
they have 4 in stock!!!! ACT FAST this wont last long!

I have never heard of the 306. i am not an expert by any means, but know more than many. What does it go with? is it simply for the Blu? if so likely why I have never heard of it.

The 306 cartos look pretty good to me, I might buy one of those and a small juice bottle to see how it goes. It would definitely be cheaper than buying a new pcc and right now I need to save money wherever I can (biggest reason I bought an e-cig)

I think the EGO 510 is best for vapor production. Considering you are not really a newb, the most awesome hit is likely a mod. Here is the thread even those guys likely hate me after me arguing with them for hours last night... LOL. I will admit that I had a few beers but i still think my points were valid... ;)

Sorry man, that's out of my budget right now. Maybe in the future
EDIT: I mean the mods, not the EGO, that might be worth looking into.

I recommend the eGo highly. The way I have mine setup I am using 900mah batteries and get 12 hours If I vape really heavily (enough to Nic OD lol) and 16 or more hours regularly. I am also using the XL or Mega Cartos and the vapor and flavor is very consistent for hours on end. I refill usually only about once every 5-10 hours usually closer to 10. I add 1ml when I refill 1.8-1.9ml on the very first fill. They last about 1 week before they stop holding liquid well. The mega Atty-cart seems to work fairly well too but not nearly as easily or as well as the cartos so far(I'm gonna get some coffee straws to see if that makes the juice flow better). And if you prefer smaller/cheaper cartos you can use regular 510 cartos as well. Also 510 cartos you can fill without a syringe. I have some regular 510 cartos that have a ceramic reservoir coming to try out soon, they have no cotton stuffing and are supposed to last longer.

So is the only difference between the ego 510 and the standard 510 battery life? If so I'm fine with ordering the standard 510 kit because that comes with two batteries which should get me through the day easily. There's a $15 dollar difference on the two right now and that's enough for me to go with the standard as long as it's the same quality vaping experience either way.
Also, I have a dental syringe with a fairly large gauge that should be perfect for refilling. I'm excited to see how that will work.

If you ever decide on the an EGO kit here is ALL you need. i spent about 2 hours today helping someone with all of this. I finally made a list and said ... let's keep this simple...ORDER THIS ... lol.

ONE EGO kit from LiteCigUSA $55
ONE box of blank cartomizers $8
ONE box of pre-filled cartomizers $8
TWO 10 ml bottles of liquid $8.50
DONE.

That is ALL you need, nothing more. Other things can be bought once you decide what you like.

the 306 is another joye product...a mini...it's slightly shorter than the 510....an exposed bridge atty similar to the m4xx series, L88B, a couple of others...
but it has the same threading as a 510 so it can be used on 510 devices.. (the threading is actually the same on the blu and L88b as well but the battery polarity is reversed)...

about the same resistance at 2.5Ω...they're freaking vapor monsters for drippers and dippers but the carts for them suck...

I'm actually surprised you've never heard of it before... the cisco LR306 seems to be the "in" atty at the moment

the only issue really with a 306 is that it's too short to fit on an eGo type battery with the cone...to be comfortable with the cone you have to use a eGo battery charging extender or an extra long drip tip which nobody sells
