Yikes, I didn't know there were special rules for liquor in Ohio. Thought that was just Utah. I can buy just about any kind in the grocery store here. Have never tried Everclear tho, nor Jagermeister.

Yep...grocery can only carry low proof alcohol....and there are towns that are dry....don't even sell beer....(stupid towns). Any quality liquor you have to get from the state liquor store. Oh, and you DO NOT wanna drink Everclear....there is a reason for it's name.....It completely clears the whole path from your mouth to your stomach! The only thing that I know it is really good for (besides cleaning and adding TH to your juice) is shots that require fire and flambeing meals and some desserts. It is nasty tasting Bleh.

Oh no! To me that stuff tastes like rubbing alcohol....yeah, don't ask.....it is some harsh, nasty stuff and I love my liquors on the rocks...bourbon, scotch, vodka, etc, but everclear?? nah...you can keep it....it is good for burnin the bugs out of a sore throat though...lol....and for parties...gotz me the beer, bad experience once with hard liquor at a party...so...nope...it's funnier watching everyone else hit the floor

Sorry, I'm a girly drink girl. A dark beer is about as non-sweet as I go. I did tequila shots with beer chasers once. And only once. But that was after having a White Russian. I think milk + tequila + beer don't mix in the tummy very well.
When I was in Cancun we did Cucarachas, which was tequila+kahlua+club soda in a tall shotglass... slam it down on the table to make it fizz up then slam it down your throat. Apparently you aren't supposed to do 6 of those within 30 mins.

Now I prefer a Chocolate Martini, margarita, or some frosty fruity blended thing.

thats nothing. I had my club do the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse shots ( Jack, Jim Beam, Jameson and Johnny Walker mixed in 1 shot glass) the other night.
