Congrats DVJ!!! Welcome to the family:) As sean said, I would highly recommend AW IMR 18350's. The LiFePo 3.0's will not push it, and there's just something magical about how well Sabers perform with AW IMR's. Now did anavidfan say something about a race? Can I join, I got a 5volt HP in the works also:w00t:

Hey Darwin!! Welcome to the Saber Family (a.k.a. Moon Dwellers) !!! I, too, have another 5volt HP in the works, but mine has already shipped (YAHOOEY!!). You have definitely made a stellar choice and you and your wife are going to love them (my wife and I sure do).

Be sure to check out the other threads: Saber Showcase, Share Your vape, and Saber vaping Pics for lots of great pictures and ideas. Tat and Sean are also true wealths of knowledge.

Again, welcome and enjoy! :)

I thought Sir Lawrence said to use 880mAh batteries and higher? I can't find any 16340/18350 batteries higher than 700.

I use two IMR 16340 550mah in all my 5 volt sabers and they absolutely are awesome. They provide a consistent flow of uber-power with no drop off (until they are depleted). FYI: It's a good idea to charge them often, even when they are not drained. It keeps 'em in tip top shape and lengthens their life (whch is already very long). :)

Hi Darwin, not really related but i love your avatar, being a greyhound lover myself. This is going to be fun to when our Sabers come in. Also, Tat can join the race, which PV did he order? I dont recognize HP?

HP=high power option. It is a supercharger that Sir Lawrence created to work with dual coil cartomizers. I get it in all my 5 volt Sabers.

Oh, Tat is creating a super secret "ghost" Saber. He is normally not secretive, but I can't get many details from him on this one. At least I now know it is a 5volt HP. :)

When you were describing Ghost version , a "space ghost" version comes to mind.
"Space Ghost", hmm...

I realize this is probably an impossible question to answer. How long does it actually take Sir Lawrence to ship these out? It'll be worth the way, but I am vaping on a borrowed switchback with a really old boge carto and that's it. Plus, I feel like a little kid again. I am just too excited to see my saber.

However long it takes to make it perfect for you.:)
But if you're in a pinch and need some supplies, pm me And I'd be Happy to help out if I can.

Thanks sean. Wow, I definitely found my group of people on here, finally! I like you guys. This is pretty epic. Im whittling away the hours with Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, the game is just too big.

So, I haven't really seen any pictures of the black crinkle. I guess it's a leather-like texture. Which is odd, because I eat a vegan diet. Not for my health, of course. [I guess some vegans wouldn't even have the looks-like-it-might-not-be-vegan thing, which is insane and laughable. you aren't free if you are terrified of judgement] But I picked it because it seemed like it would have a nice, hefty feel to it. Someone once said something about saber touches feeling like the hilt of a sword. I feel like the black crinkle texture will do that. And be easier to hold, not scratch, keep clean, and be generally awesome. However, I have to say, that one I've seen on here, "Amber", I believe, with that lovely story about the whole ordeal of getting it perfect. First off, that story is what convinced me and my wife it was worth spending the money. We really don't have much, I'm trying to finish college, I don't make a lot working part time, but it's worth it if the guy making it will really put a piece of his soul into it. and second, that ST, Amber, is the nicest one I've seen yet. Like, that was absolutely gorgeous.

I'm going to need some tips on taking proper care of it. I want to keep it in like-new condition always. Cleaning threads, wiping off caps, etc, whatever you guys think should be done to always keep it looking and performing best.

I definitely don't mind waiting. Believe me, I appreciate that Sir Lawrence spends time getting them perfect. Big corporations don't do that. They fire out disposable, hideous, useless, wasteful products by the million and none of them are special, and it destroys every hobby, industry, etc on earth. Thank you in advance, Sir Lawrence!

First of all I have over 200 hours of game time in on oblivion and have not even touched the main quest! Lol.
Also if you see my picture of "Smaug" in the saber showcase you may recognize his lair as the limited edition perk from an epic game I have not even touched yet, because I must finish Oblivion first.

So I must admit, I have been intrigued by the black crinkle and would appreciate your thoughts and pics on it when you get it.

Also each saber Sir Lawrence sends out is wrapped in a polishing cloth that you can use to keep your saber as shiny as you like.
Some I like to keep polished, others I prefer to keep looking "antiqued"' I'll call it. It all depends on what kind of character you want your saber to have.

Wings will love the fact you love "Amber"! You can tell by her story what it meant to her.

And yes...Sir Lawrence is most definately the man! And the moon is the place to be!
