Thanks sean. Wow, I definitely found my group of people on here, finally! I like you guys. This is pretty epic. Im whittling away the hours with Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, the game is just too big.
So, I haven't really seen any pictures of the black crinkle. I guess it's a leather-like texture. Which is odd, because I eat a vegan diet. Not for my health, of course. [I guess some vegans wouldn't even have the looks-like-it-might-not-be-vegan thing, which is insane and laughable. you aren't free if you are terrified of judgement] But I picked it because it seemed like it would have a nice, hefty feel to it. Someone once said something about saber touches feeling like the hilt of a sword. I feel like the black crinkle texture will do that. And be easier to hold, not scratch, keep clean, and be generally awesome. However, I have to say, that one I've seen on here, "Amber", I believe, with that lovely story about the whole ordeal of getting it perfect. First off, that story is what convinced me and my wife it was worth spending the money. We really don't have much, I'm trying to finish college, I don't make a lot working part time, but it's worth it if the guy making it will really put a piece of his soul into it. and second, that ST, Amber, is the nicest one I've seen yet. Like, that was absolutely gorgeous.
I'm going to need some tips on taking proper care of it. I want to keep it in like-new condition always. Cleaning threads, wiping off caps, etc, whatever you guys think should be done to always keep it looking and performing best.
I definitely don't mind waiting. Believe me, I appreciate that Sir Lawrence spends time getting them perfect. Big corporations don't do that. They fire out disposable, hideous, useless, wasteful products by the million and none of them are special, and it destroys every hobby, industry, etc on earth. Thank you in advance, Sir Lawrence!
