hey guys its time to switch to a easy mod. i dont need anything that is a high vv mod becuase i only vape on 1.5-2.0ohms. so here is my question...

should i get the bolt which is only a 3.7v mod or the ego vv 900mah 3.2-4.2vv. i know the bolt is a much bigger battery but i would like to vape at around 4-4.2v. i am leaning towards the ego vv becuase it gets me to the 4.2v area. any opinions?

Really depends what your looking for, battery life or VV. If you get a 3.7 device and use 1.5-2.00hms cartos you will still experience high voltage vaping! If size is important for you the Ego is probably a nice option. Me personally, I like the big battery mods now, but some never like the form factor of such a device. I just love my Provari, but you may want to start with a Lava Tube if you want to experience VV vaping, with long battery life! Also Vaporbeast.com has a really good price on an 18650 epower battery mod which you may enjoy! The bolt also looks really nice!

With low resistance and dual coil cartos you probably want to stick with something with a large battery. The ego batteries won't deliver the kind of current you want for long periods; it will even shorten the battery life in the process. Stick to something with an 18650 battery or something to provide you enough MAH and sufficient current capability. Even the vv egos under load don't do what you want it to do.

I have heard that the lavatube doesn't like low resistance very well. I have heard that when the current draw exceeds what it's capable of, it will simply drop the voltage down to 3.7 volts, regardless of the voltage setting. It does this to prevent damage. Only problem is that the user has no idea it did this. Make sure any vv device you look at can deliver the current you will need with those low resistance atomizers.

Pbusardo did a review on the lava tube. On a 2.0 carto he was able to hit 4.9v before it was pushed back to 3.7v. Vaping at 4.5v with a 2ohm carto would be perfect. It's nice to have something that goes 6v for experimenting with sr attys and cartos. Think the lava tube is going to be my mod. I couldn't stop the order from ecigexpress so I have a ego vv coming to me now. Will just use it to replace one of my egos. Will have some back ups now.
