I may have been born but a few weeks ago into the "vaping as a past-time" idea, as much of the experience I've previously had were with 'cig-a-likes':
- the "e-cigs" brand, which gave me hope that I might actually be able to quit my nasty 5-year tobacco habit before I progressed into adult life (yep, started young. I know I'm not alone in that, and I've got to give it to all you vapers currently kicking or who have kicked multiple-decade habits- much inspiration from y'all has gotten me this far) As far as that brand goes, their flavor was sub-par, but their no-nic carts got me into the idea of cloud chasing before I knew it was a thing. I'd burn out two a night just taking three or four of the longest draws the hardware would allow in one inhale. Fun stuff.
- Graduated to nJoys, flavor was despicable by my standards, nothing I'd ever pass up a Cowboy Killer for
- MarkTen next, where I found out that vapor with flavor existed, but the carts burned up like matchsticks- really, really expensive matchsticks. I was flaming mad.
Finally, about two weeks ago, I got a CE4 w/ a Clearo, along with three bottles of juice- Blue Hawaiian and some generic tobacco at 24mg, and one lemon juice flavored one from a friend who informed me it was house juice from the B&M in our town. No idea what strength it is, I just use it for flavor mixing.
The Clearo ....e itself to death not three days later, and I was back on analogs for a week. I felt then, more than ever, that they had me more than I genuinely desired them.
Went to that same B&M in person yesterday, picking up an eGO ONE with the short battery (in a wonderful black) and craft-glued a silver king cobra to the side of it, which has been a plan for my first 'decent' vape ever since I first saw a box mod used in my friend's car.
Either way, it's day two of not a single analog from a PAD (or 1/2PAD on good days) and I can certainly tell that there are things my body wants that it's not fully getting from vaping, as much as I love my current flavor mix. Might be a bit shy on the nic, might just be a hell of a bad breakup with tobacco cigarettes. Either way, I'm planning to stick it out for the long run.
Can't tell if this is rambling or not, honestly, as a phone screen isn't the most convenient way to converse on a forum. I used to be a general mod on a few community forums, long faded into nonexistence, and mobile layouts always seemed to lack for me. I also apologize in advance for any typographical errors or rudimentary formatting for the same reasons.
Either way, I'm glad to be a part of such a great community- been lurking since I got home with that first CE4.
