What's up all. New user introducing myself. Been vaping since Jan 7, 2017 after smoking for 22+ yrs.

Currently in a Clapton kick. Got dual 3mm id 9 wrap ka1 (26/36g)in my dead rabbit ohming ~.7. Got a single 3mm 5 wrap in the pyro ohming at ~.85.

Waiting on some new juice to come in, vaping on some awesomesauce (bananas foster) at the moment, sipping some cheap whiskey lol. What kinda juice is on tap for you all tonight?

Nice, I got a cart full of diy gear from nic river that I'm going to order once I finish this next incoming order/backlog/small collection of juice I have now.
Choose a couple recipes and order those flavors. Between the single testers, recipes, and other combinations it is enough to get started and keep you in vapable juice. Would also order a coupe of oneshots as well. We're here when you're ready to get started.

Hi welcome to ECF, I am vaping too many juices to count, thanks to the magic of DIY.

I would second Letitia's suggestion to get some flavors now, and maybe start mixing and steeping and tasting single flavors, so you get a sense of steeping time. That is how I started DIY and I would then combine flavors in my tank to get a sense of if they would play together well at all. It really helped me with my "building blocks" of flavor and I mostly make my own recipes and have had good success (I did a lot of juice tasting and read a lot of recipes, as well to gather more information).

During that time, I did have some commercial juices on hand, so I was able to be patient steeping single flavors and learning about my flavor profiles. It can be quite helpful to not "need" a flavor to turn out fantastic. I also combined some of my DIY experiments with storebought flavors which also gave me more information. One shots are also great to get started as you can get "up and vaping" pretty easily, once you figure out the right percentage of flavoring for you. Tons of help on the DIY juice forum, also.

Welcome and I hope you enjoy your say here.

Right on thanks for the info. The "cart full of supplies" is because I'm going to be just starting out, needed those bottles/syringes/caps ect. I looked around a bit (been on Reddit vaping forums for a year or so) and saw the most common mistake was buying a ton of flavors that either don't mix together well, or are very rarely used. So basically I have a ton of different profiles that I like but decided to focus on fruits and fruit/cream mixes to start.

In my cart I have: 9mg base in vg (I'll go 70/30ish trying to get around 6mg as my final strength) and some pg. From there I have 3 different strawberries, Dragon fruit, a couple berry mixes (forest fruit is one, I dig very berry from naked100 and heard it's basically that flavor) a vanilla, couple of creams/whipped cream and a cheesecake base.

Trying to skip the sweeteners till I get my bearings in mixing, I don't want to 'step on' any decent mixed with too much sweet.

But yeah thanks for the advice to have some backup juice to consume while the initial mixes are steeping.

Since you asked, I'm vaping on my current favorite pre-mixed juice from Spring Vapor called Coffee Cake.

I DIY, too, and make a tasty Pineapple Upside Down Cake. The recipe is in the Recipes for Dummies in the DIY ECF forum. I've researched for a recipe for Coffee Cake, but all the recipes ask for up to 10 flavoring agents in the mix.
