hello there
i am glad that i found this community
i am kinda new to the vape and it's hard to find something about it here on my country
so i am grateful that i found this great community that everybody on it is a helpful
i have (SX Mini G-Class as my main mod)
i am enjoying more MTL Vape but sometimes i go DL
i have (Siren 2 GTA MTL 24mm version) on top of my G-Class
also i have Pharoah Mini as my second tank
i am looking for a new flavor RDA ?
i am thinking of the Drop is it good ?
and i am kinda suffering from the siren 2 flavor as i had my sxk KF prime clone and it was good compared to the siren 2 which is muted for some reason
my coil setup is (9 wraps 26g kanthal contacted coil 3mm ) around 1.06 ohm
i am vaping at 12 watts on 70/30 juice with 6 nic
any advice regarding the coil and the RDA ?

Welcome to ECF, I don't know a ton about RBAs but I've heard good things about the drop.

I use SS and rayon for my Siren V2, and my coils are simple round wire, usually spaced (although I've used a contact coil here and there.) To be honest, with the Siren V2 some folks really don't feel they find a lot of flavor with it, your mileage may vary. I use it with the airflow wide open, slightly higher wattage than some of my other tanks, and find it vapes best this way. I also use strong, usually fruit juices and that is when I find this RTA really shines, but there are tons of variables to experiment with. For instance you could try a lower resistance coil at slightly higher wattages, and see if that helps or hinders the flavors.

Best of luck and welcome to ECF. Glad you joined, and I'm sure you'll get tons of other helpful advice.

What country?

Everyone's "sweet spot" and how they get it is going to be different. Everyone's taste and preferences are going to be different. Some people like wattage, some people like Temp Control. Everyone has their favorite wattage setting or coil resistance. Everyone experiments a little to find what works best for them.

i know i am talking about the basics
as example is
420F + 18 watt for 0.53 ohm good ? or consider not so hot ?
you got the point of what i am saying ?

I think so. I can only say how I vape.

With a 0.5 ohm stainless steel or kanthal coil I would probably use 30 watts. I'd barely get enough vapor if I used just 18 watts. But that's me.

What kind of metal wire are you using? You can only use TC with stainless steel or nickle.

Welcome to the forum!
I don’t have that mod or tank so the numbers I use may be different on different mods but when I use tc I’m usually at 40 watts and between 390 and 420 depending on the coil ohms. I like my vape warm and dense though so as said above what’s a sweet spot for me may not be for you.

i know i have SS 316L 26 gauge
but why i am saying 18 watts because it's siren 2 and it's mtl so i don't know i need some advice regarding the build

i see i do the same but on MTL tank this things become too hot quickly on those setting so i think i need to tweak it

You need to EXPERIMENT with different air and power settings to see what YOU like best. We can't predict what YOU will like.

i need somewhat a basics to start off
example ( temp need to be around 320F to 500F ) etc
got what i mean ?
First, adjust the wattage to what you like. Then you can switch over to TC mode and adjust that. I typically go somewhere between 350-400F. 400F is pretty hot, 350F gives you a cooler (but still warm) vape... both produce lots of vapor when I vape them at 100W w/ a .2ohm coil. I wouldn't recommend doing 100W with your current setup, though... probably somewhere around 25-30W would be best for a 1.0ohm coil. I hope this helps you!

Welcome and glad you joined.
I'm at high ohms and low watts (2.2-3 ohms/6-7w/32ga Kanthal A1;4-5 turns;0.118 inch coil ID).
Start 6 w. and work up wattage wise until you see a small cloud. It will take 3-4 long slow puffs to get your wire coil hot enough to obtain consistent good performance (clouds). After a few min. consider backing off .2 watts or so to cool the wire coil and vape on from there. I find 32 ga. will hold residual heat after a few minutes after start up. This works for me.
The following article may help you with your coil build decision. Best reply I have ever read to date on this subject:
