Hello =]
I have been smoking for just over a year, I was on google the other day & I stumbled across an advert about e-cigarettes, so after some research & hopefully some good advise on here, I'd like to swap smoking rolling tobacco, for e-cigarettes, but I'm not quite sure..
I get a lot of satisfaction from tobacco based cigarettes, and I'm not sure If I should spend money on an e-cigg product and then hate it :/
Is an E-cigg as satisfying as a normal cigarette? & if so, where can I get a good, reasonably priced product from? I hear the Titan 510 is supposed to be good, and it's around £44. Or the mini e-cigg black which is £30.
I don't want to quit smoking, I enjoy it, I'm checking out this, because it'd be nice to find a cost reducing and safer yet equally satisfying product.

Hi George,

Welcome to the forum. Careful though, this place is almost as addicting as nicotine. I was seriously jonesing the other day when they were switching servers and I couldn't log on.

I don't want to quit smoking either, I like it too much. (plus, I don't want to give the anti-smoking nazis the satisfaction - is that wrong of me?) But I'm thinking, I won't have time to smoke cigarettes because I will be too busy enjoying this new vaping thing. It is just too cool. Smoking wasn't this cool to me, event in high school. My husband says I better enjoy this. He doesn't want to see me disappointed, because I haven't been this psyched about anything in ages.

I ordered the Sidesho from Modern Vapor. I hear alot of good about them, I think they will feel a lot like a regular cig - they come in a charger that looks like a cigarette pack, and they come in all sorts of cool colors. (I'm getting black ones with a pink LED) The prices are good and the customer service is terrific. You can read all about them here ModernVapor - e-cigarette-forum.com • The place for electronic cigarette reviews, news and chat

They tell me this is a good thread. It might help you make the transition from smoking to vaping easier. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-e-smoking-discussion/41152-time-vape-break.html

Be wll,

I smoked for 40yrs. And bought an e cig at a store with out finding out any info other than what the clerk told me.At least he owned up to the fact that the cartriges lasted around two cigs instead of the pack the sign claimed. Found out parts were just about non existant. Then i wandered into this forum and decided on a Joye 510 Kit.
Good vapor after a couple of days breaking in decent price for what you get in a normal starter kit 2 batts 2 attys and charger the PCC wasn't too expensive either i got that and 20 ml of juice and 5 spare carts for around 75 USD. Have been so satisfied that I haven't smoked an analog since.
The only thing is I'm now trying different flavored juices as I haven't really found one that is the can't smoke anything but this flavor yetbut the ones i've tried have all been good none I wouldn't want to smoke.
The main thing isto decide what is important to you and readup untill you find something that meets the criteria. Mine was a lot of vapor and good taste. Because I associated smoking with clouds of smoke and the taste of the smoke.

Bottom line: Even if it doesn't replace analog cigarettes for you, it'll save you money and let you feed your nicotine habit in lots of situations (though not all) where you're now unable to.

And if you spend your initial money wisely (say, a $35 510 starter kit from Cignot and $20 worth of inexpensive juice), you can get two week's worth of vaping for probably less than you'd pay for a carton of cigarettes.

I smoked for over 40 years.
You cant put a price on CANCER! Not to mention all the other diseases that come from cigs.
You are young. Break the habit and get on something at leasy better for you!
Ecigs are much better and you will feel so much better also!
And YES, They satisfy as good as any cig for sure!

Check the forum and you will see something to try..

You will get as many opinions as there are people on here,

See what most others start with and go for it!

You will save a lot of cash!

Welcome to the forum. I'll add my voice to the supporters of the Joye 510. I've never been sorry I bought one. It's a quality product at a reasonable price. Just be aware, when you first start using it you're going to get a burnt, nasty taste. This is just the primer that they put in the atty when new. Keep vaping and in less than two days it will go away and you'll enjoy whatever flavor you're using. Or, if you're in a hurry, there are lots of posts detailing how to clean out the primer before the first use. Good luck.
