After some bad experiences with new my mini-Protank II's and various ejuices, I finally found a tobacco flavor that isn't repulsive. HHV's Legend. It's got a great flavor and throat hit. I thought i'd never find a good tobacco flavor.

I had really bad luck with my mini-Protanks and flavors the last couple days. For my last try before giving up on them I replaced the OE silica wick with some cotton and poured in some Legend for the 1st time and was surprisingly pleased. The cotton makes a huge difference. :vapor:I couldn't get much flavor with the other wicks. I had to cap off one of the air holes as well.

I ordered the Legend at 24mg and 80/20 PG/VG. Most of my other juices are 18mg and not quite strong enough so I may have to start going the 24mg route in the future.

I'm also going to have to revisit some of my previous e-juices like Halos' Tribeca and Torque because they were terrible the first time around.

I'm a happy camper.

Legend has the best throat hit of any juice I've had.

You ain't kidding. I have it in 24mg and it was wrecking my throat but it tastes soooo good. I found that when my Mini-Protank was completely full it was way, way to harsh on my throat. Once the tank fell under half way it got softer and tastier. I don't like that tanks inconsistency. I just tried it in a Kanger 510 carto. Much smoother with consistent flavor. I ordered another bottle in 18mg to spare my throat a bit.

I loaded another carto with Boba's Bounty from Alien Visions. It's has a flatter, blander flavor than Legend but is not bad. It still far better than any of those horrible tobacco knock-offs the local shops sell. Legend is still much better, it has some twang to the taste.

Still have Apple House Blend and Peachy Criminal from Ahlusions to test out and the tobacco sampler from Halo to re-visit.

I had a similar experience to you. I was actually fed up with vaping at one point. Then I found HHV Huntsman and carto tanks. Things have been smooth sailing ever since. A few hours ago at the vape shop I tried Halo TriBeCa and a Pink Spot tobacco. Both were excellent and I'm very picky about juice. Huntsman from HHV's is about all I will vape. I'd like to find another juice I love.

I really enjoy Legend (I still prefer to call it Gandalf :p). I like Serendipity more, as it is a longer extraction of legend, so it is a deeper and richer flavor. Shadow and Dragon's Fire are also incredibly good vapes.

Definitely give Tribeca another chance. Man, I would not be able to imagine my vaping life without Tribeca. It is just such a wonderful juice that encompasses everything I enjoy about vaping. Such a rich and bright flavor that provides complete satisfaction. It is one of the few flavors that I keep in my rotation that comes from a vendor, as the majority of my juices are now DIY.

Before I tried some of the different tobacco flavors I thought Tribeca was just too overpowering. Now that I've experimented with many RY4 and some tobacco juices like Smooth Criminal and Legend, I realize how great Tribeca really is. It's just a great quality and well constructed juice that sort of grows with experience level and appreciation for good juices.

As far as Legend, I think it's solid. I much prefer Heavenly Tobacco over all the other HHV tobaccos, but Dragon's Fire, Huntsman and Oompa are all really good IMO. Legend probably just behind those but I can see why people enjoy it. Pretty impressed with HHV even after trying 15+vendors.

Well why I have all you tobacco experts here, can somone tell me if there is something similar to torque 56 but without the maple notes. I love everything but the maple notes. I wish I could find something that was just strong and bland.

From HHV, that would be Dark Horse. It has the mossy/earthy tones, but not the sweetness of Huntsman (nor the colors). Dark Horse is the most bland tobacco from HHV.

From other vendors, try Acadian Gold from Goodejuice NET line, or High Octane from the Lab Made Line (in the T56 vein).

Thanks for the help. Will give those a try.
