I just purchased one of these from Mad Vapes and I was wondering if anyone had thoughts on this item? I searched for reviews on You Tube but couldn't find any. I have a ZMax (with extension cap) and a Bolt (with extension ring) so I can stack (2) 18350's and I'm having a blast with those. This will be my second VV unit and although they may not be accurate for the experienced user, they are fun and easy for a novice like me. I've been vaping for 3 years, but I've just gotten interested in VV devices recently. Any info about the Vision would be greatly appreciated :)

Hi bearyhot,
Mad Vapes initially didn't have a full description of this on their site. It's actually a Vamo, also called an eGo APV. It's variable voltage and variable wattage.
There's a whole thread here on it from people who own them:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...9173-any-vamo-etna-vv-vw-owners-here-yet.html

The first thing you need to do with it is put it in its accurate RMS mode. That's No 2 on the menu. If you check put the thread I linked you'll find a big bunch of owners and we'll be happy to answer any questions.
Generally we all just call it the Vamo since its the same APV.
You'll need 5 posts in the new members forum before you can post in other forums.

It's a great mod. I really like being able to use it in a mini size or full size. I use the variable wattage on it pretty much most of the time. Having variable voltage and variable wattage on one device is a very good development.

Thank you so much for your reply kiwivap! I will check that forum out. I wouldn't have known where to look, if you didn't guide me there! This will be my 6th or 7th post, but I still can't post anywhere else yet. A Facebook acquaintance is running a contest here and I can't enter, because I guess I don't have enough posts. If you want to know about the contest, let me know and I'll post a link :)

Glad to help. Usually you have to wait for the server to reset - about 30 min. Then you should be good to go. :) You won't be able to participate in the Classifieds (buying, selling and trading) unless you're verified. Should be ok with the contest though. I'll head over and look at the contest sub-forum. Thanks for the heads up.

Pardon me kiwivap...I just read and re-read the page for Mad Vapes Vision VV Mod. There is a new question and answer at the bottom of the page, where someone asks if this is VV/VW...and Mad Vapes says it's VV only! I swear to you that the description on the page says VV/VW! It even says it several times. Can I post a link here so that you can see the description? I think that they are mistaken as it looks exactly like the Vamo and the description says that you can vape in watts! I wrote to them and told them that if it only vaped in volts, that I didn't want it, and it was misleading advertizing. If I can post a link, maybe you can give me some insight. I'm waiting on them to open up for the day, so that I can call them and talk to someone so see what is really going on with this mod. I'll be very disappointed if I paid $59.99 for something that was incorrectly described... :)

Hi bearyhot,
I saw the description earlier today - this is confusing huh. Initially they didn't have that description. Because it looked like the Vamo I asked them if it had variable wattage. They replied it was only variable voltage.
Then they changed the description - it's the exact same description Health Cabin have for the eGo APV (the Vamo). There weren't any questions at the bottom then - I looked. So it was described as vv/vw.
Now it looks like they took that question and answer off that you just mentioned:
Vision Variable Volt Mod, Chrome

Ecig Charleston have what appears to be the same pv:
Vision Variable Volt APV Chrome has a sealed 510 connector from 3 Volts to 6 Volts Variable Voltage of 510 atomizers and cartomizers.Variable Voltage.Choose Voltage Battery Lasts Over Day.VAMO

From what I see its the Vamo, and they have been confused about it. But I'd get a definite answer straight from Mad Vapes anyway if I were you. You could use their contact form on the site maybe?

P.S. Please let us know how you get on with it.

ETA: It is the Vamo, From the Mad Vapes forum:

Hi All, originally we didn't get any docs for this device and didn't realize the awesome features it has. It's variable volt and variable watt. Can take single or stacked IMR cells and the extension can be unscrewed to run with a single 18350. Sorry about putting up a product with half the specs missing. They've been updated now.
