CDC is and has long been in bed with the tobacco industry.
An old tax debt/contract has come due with .gov and sales are way down.
Huge amounts of state tax revenue is being lost to vaping. Oh, and it's ineffective to killing the herd and negatively impacts the _cancer business_.

Welcome to the matrix.
It's funny you said that, I just rewatched the matrix trilogy when this stuff all hit the fan.

I wound up in the emergency room after vapong

What where you vaping? What device did you use? What liquid did you use, the manufacture, the nicotine strength, with what tank, coil build, and what brand of cotton?
How long have you vaped? Do you have any underlying medical conditions?

THC is no more the culprit than vaping is. It is what was added to the THC. Please everyone be careful with how you word your comments, new or uneducated users are easily confused if you aren't clear.

What you quoted and replied to: U shouldnt be unless u vape THC

Isn't saying it's the THC. Post #3 said essentially the same thing with more detail. And from what I understand the additive was specifically mixed to resemble pure THC (vape) since black market cuts it in way where it's easily distinguished from pure stuff (or what a licensed lab produces). The additive was meant to overcome that. Or put another way, incredibly bad business ethics.

If the same additive was on the eCig market, we'd all know about it by now.

I think it important to tell people to avoid THC vaping unless purchasing directly from a licensed distributor, preferably making that purchase in a brick and mortar store.

Maybe big tobacco should consider participation? I for one would love a liquid analog of the Marlboro brand.

sorry that just stuck me funny.. lol.. pass me that analog cigarette, in a bucket please! haha

No where did I mention who from or where to buy carts from. I was simply pointing out we need to show care how we word a post regarding the real culprit.

You were asked to give details about what you were vaping.

If you cannot do so, or refuse to, you need to delete your comments because either they are obviously lies, or you were vaping those tainted black market carts and you’d rather smear the vaping community than own up to it.

Without even knowing any more about the cause of the outbreak of problems, it has to be something new. If you've been vaping since before any of this, haven't changed anything substantive, and don't use black market products that could change even if they appear the same, there should be nothing to worry about. If you DIY and haven't even bought anything for a year, then you really have nothing to worry about!

I mentioned where to buy carts from, as way to ease anxiety. Since vaping blackmarket THC is the real culprit.

I did read that one of the cases from Oregon was from a legal cannabis dispensary, I haven't seen a followup. I also read a story by a legal cannabis lab tech that they had been using vit A acetate until this recent crisis and have voluntarily stopped production.

I think I read the same story you are referring to. It lead me to think it is best to avoid altogether. But I think that lab tech suggested asking to see lab reports, as a reputable vendor would have no problem providing.

Some legal dispensaries freely admit to mixing up the thc carts in house. It is possible to buy a tainted cart from an authorized dealer. Best practice is to ask for pg/vg bases only, those are readily available by request. Take responsibility for what you inhale, ask intelligent questions respectfully.
