well im on my 3rd week so maybe my attys are ready to be swapped out? so are you saying no matter the cleaning method an attys life span is about 2 weeks?

No....not two weeks. More than that, usually. But you just never know. It's worth it to have spares for sure. I can usually get a month or two...sometimes more....from an atty. I was just thinking that maybe your attys aren't just done for....maybe they are not the whole problem. If they're still firing, them maybe the airholes are clogged, or I was thinking maybe if you're using cartridges (instead of dripping) that there could be a problem with the wicking....just trying to troubleshoot with ya.

Before you spend a lot of money on a reo check out the link in my sig look at the vmod, half the price of a reo, works great 5ml bottle very easy to use. It is smaller than the reo mini and uses the same battery. Not hating on the reo's just giving alternatives.

ive been vaping for about 3 weeks now, but ive heard atys are supposed to last anywhere from 4-9 months depending on how well you take care of them, thanx for all the advise though. ive actually been checking out the reo grand box mod, and it looks like a no hassle and easy easy to use. do you guys know anything about the reo?

You also try some different attys cisco 306s or 510s from avid vaper.... You will need a different drip tip for the 306s though... And always have a few spare attys if you like to drip..... Thae Vmad looks very interesting I have my eye on that as well.... Good luck and vape hard...

Welcome to the rabbit hole... You can find most of us through one of the doors but you might have to eat something to get bigger or smaller to get through...

i heard of debridging and dewicking my attys, but i wouldnt know how to go about that, maybe i should start with unclogging the holes first.

Payday, you can learn a LOT by watching youtube videos. Go to youtube and just type in how to dewick my atomizer and you'll see some videos....same with debridging....and almost any other procedure you can think of.

IMHO the metal (no cracking) Ce2 (clearomizer) blows away any cartomizer or atomizer hands down. All you have to do move the bottem white plug up a bit for better wicking. After doing that you can chain vape the hell out of these things just flip it upside down for a cpl secs on every other hit and they never have a burnt taste. They are also very easy to clean.

You didn't say what atty you are using. I read the follow up post saying it was 3 weeks old. I assume standard resistance.

Now, I change my atty every month (but I vape at 5 volts too... harder on them). Anyway, it should last a month or two. People I respect very much here on ECF swear they have atties that are in constant use for 6 months. I believe them, but I don't bother with that.

Anyway...cartos (and carto fans) don't worry about it because cartos don't last as long, and when they stop working well/can't clean well, they just toss them. That's not to say you can't get good at using what you have, though, and you don't have to run out and buy a ton of cartos.

Firstly, research atty cleaning methods. Usually the atty is just getting gunked up over time. The wash that you're giving them must not be doing the whole trick. As a last resort, you can try a dry burn (standard atty), but try more hot water rinses/blow outs, or an ISO soak 1st. Dry burns will probably pop the LR atties, so caution.

Atties should last you one or two months and work just fine. Most darker juices gunk them up faster. Good Luck!

hahaha, arite scotay87, lol so are the 306's low resistance attys? i want something thats going to give me a cloud of vape and outstanding flavor.
I am running a lr 306 currently on my Inferno that is an eGo clone and get pretty good clouds.... If you want real clouds you need to upgrade to a mod that has a bigger stronger batt. That or go to higher VG mix juice.... The lr 306 and 510 perform well on eGo batts but they tend to kill the batt quicker...
