My wife, Daxia, passed away this morning.
It was a very long and hard fought battle since early October. She had recovered enough to get out of the hospital in November and ended up at Plaza Healthcare in Scottsdale for rehab.
On February 1st, she came home for the first time in nearly four months. Sadly, two weeks later she was right back in the hospital with same pneumonia/anemia issues. It all stemmed from a rapidly spreading infection that, this time, had the upper hand. This morning, with her sisters and her mother at her side, she passed away peacefully.
