Hello all I am new to the forum as well to these ecig... The twist of it is hubby doesn't know yet cause he is currently working out of town hehe!..

I have been hearing about them for quite some time now the good and the bad
and the other day I was visiting one of our variety store and saw the HDsmoke
disposable one so I bought one in Vanilla which tasted like Menthol and I hate menthol but was impressed with it so I went ahead and ordered a kit (wish I had found this forum
first though)...

Since here in Canada (I am in northern Ontario) they are not allowed to sell this product with
nicotine I ordered the robust 16mg cartridges from the website because I smoke almost 2 packs a day. What they forgot to mention is... the tobacco flavoured one is like smoking an American cigarette which tatse a lot different than the Canadian tobacco so needless to say I almost chocked to death the first time I took a puff lol... But since I am waiting for the other flavoured cartridges I am toughing it outhehe!

Since I am quite the stubborn kind and want to ease my transition and avoid my inner green monster to show up I am using regular cigarettes and the ecig but I keep a count to help me see that I can switch to be a full time vaping machine :)

I must say There hasn't been anything out there that comes close to giving me the results an ecig does I always thought I was doomed to turn into that green Medusa monster if I didn't have any cigarettes on hand 24/7.. or the second someone mentions quitting I go smoke a whole pack.. lol

This is day 2 for me on these ecigs and out of the 40 cigarettes min I smoke a day I had only 4 so far today this is literally a miracle for me... I am not rushing myself cause I know how I get if my mind thinks for one sec that I am trying to quit the tar, ashes and what ever else. I am sure I will transition no problem specialy with all the different flavours available I am looking forward to everything about the ecigs :)

Now the question remains on how hubby will react when he comes home.. lol He is an almost 3 pack a day smoker, maybe he will switch too after seeing what it does to me :)

Sooooo glad I found this forum :)

Hi and Welcome, your introductory post sounds very familiar. I do hope your hubby
sees it as an easy way out of smoking like you have, my wife still smokes the stinkies
but I still hold out hope she'll come around soon. It's only been a couple months for
me so far but find I have much more stamina and it takes much more to get me winded:)

Hope you enjoy your new kit!

Cheers Hitme:vapor::vapor:

Hi and Congrats on switching to Vaping. I started with a few a day and found that after a couple of days the analogs tasted terrible. Smoked for 25 years and vaping for a few days cured me.

Wishing you (and your hubby) the best of success with putting down the analogs. Vaping is much cleaner and healthier and is a fun hobby.

Welcome Mojojo, I'm so happy you found this forum :) Remember to drink lots of water, vapor tends to be drying. Also to keep the Monster at bay....Tell yourself your not quitting anything, just changing brands. This really helped me to mentaly get through my quit. Its a terrible feeling to give up your best friend. Also be kind to yourself, and if you need to smoke, do it don't beat yourself up. Just pick up you PV the next time the craving hits. You will find yourself forgetting to smoke. Congrats and welcome!

Weclome Mojojo. I'm a similar kind of smoke addict to yourself. By the Way, your Hubby doesn't know I've started vaping either so we have stuff in common:blush:.

The quoted line above is a BRILLIANT way to think of it and it gives me a way to keep trying. Thanks Beans!
