Hi from a n00b

Hey all - I am Christina, from Texas. I made the switch to e-cigs last Monday after a client came in raving about her eGo. I was just waiting for someone to help me wade through the mass number of suppliers and supplies - so was thrilled to have found her. I've already made a ton of orders for diy supplies and am taking a crack at "rolling my own" - so fun.

Thanks for all the help I have received on the forum (lurking) - there is so much information here - and so much more to learn. I look forward to getting to know some of you folks better and hopefully eventually being able to help another n00b wade through the fog...

Thanks so much for the welcome and the info - I can see that I was definitely lucky to have run into the gal that I did (with the ego). Im cig free for one week tomorrow and I haven't looked back. Although I did bum a ciggy from a guy at the bar last night...oops. Darned Bud Light.

Breaktru - I have already checked out your calc and info. My Perfumers apprentice order should be in tomorrow - can't wait to get rolling with some great flavors!

Impressive that you would tackle DIY right off the git go. If you are looking to buy juices, I have ordered from 4 different suppliers, and received a few samples from a couple of others. I have suggestions based on what flavors you may think you like. I myself am not a good resource for opinions on tobacco flavored juices. I prefer things like butter scotch, banana walnut, cinnamon rolls, etc. So far, I havent found a fruit flavor I am jumping up and down over, but all are less than 30 days old, so I am hanging on to them before trading them. Oh wait, Caramel Apple is pretty good.

As far as equipment, I also bought an ego after only 2 weeks of using a joye 510. The ego works with all my 510 parts except for the charger, and batteries.

I have learned everything I know from the folks in this forum, and am happy to pass it on. Still havent tried cartomizers, although that is my next venture.

I have been vaping for about 3 months and I love the freedom it gives me to smoke indoors, especially in the house. There's no odor and the house doesn't stink. I have expanded my knowledge about e-cigs and learned a lot. I know you will too.

Hi Christina.

I am still a noob as well. I am a non-smoker that is trying to converts smokers to vaping.
I have converted my aunt, she is down from 1-2 cartons a week to 1 carton for 2 weeks.
She is not going to buy any more cartons, and is on her last pack.

we order some e-liquid juice, and she is liking some flavors, and we have ordered LorAnn, PerfApprnt, and BF straight flavors to do some DIY. I bought some strawberry flavor from hobby lobby, and we increased the flavor on one of the eliquids w/nic. She loves it now.

Just waiting for all the new flavors to come in to start a DIY science project.

I am a noob myself. I am amazed at how much I enjoy my Ego. I started with a 510, but the batt life was killing me. I hope you love your Ego as much as I do. I also love trying all the new flavors. So far I have an obsession with TV's flavors.
