hi, I was waiting for hubby outside my local walmart smoking a cigarette, and met a lady we got to talking about smoking and she showed me her e-cig,
now I thought that was the neetest thing I have ever seen. she told me she has not smoked a cigarette in months useing it. before parting she gave me the URL to this forum and told me I would find all kinds of info here. and she was right, I have been lurking this past week. reading I would almost say all the posts,
Hubby and I are in our 50's and disabled, hubby with heart and lung problems. so I have to go outdoors to smoke, I had a stroke and the doc's are hounding me to quit smoking, I can say the e-cig is what I have been looking for to help me stop smoking cigarettes, we only have a monthy income so in order to get a starter kit and some supplies to last me. I am going to have to penny pinch and save up for it, even if that means going to the discount smoke shack and buying the chrapest cigarettes to tide me over, Please Pray for me, I know with your prayers and support I can make it. I really want too.

You know something Samee I have a few smoore 401 that I really don't use all that much and have been waiting for someone like you to post. I want to help out and want to mail a few of them to you and will even cover the postage costs. I will also put 10 mls. of liquid, battery charger, four batteries and four atomisers in there also you should be set when it arrives. PM me with your mailing address and I will send it off. There is a large learning curve so please be patient with it. There are many types of ecigs out there that can quite easily confuse the issue but this will give you an idea if this is for you or not. I smoked for 45 years and within two weeks I put down analogs altogether. I hope the result is the same for you.

Sameeee,

Here is a link (inside the forum, of course) to help with you the 401.

M-401/402 "Mini" - e-cigarette-forum.com • The place for electronic cigarette reviews, news and chat

Maybe, if you have time, you can read about it so you can be fairly knowledgeable about it before it arrives.

Best of luck and do keep us posted. :)

Thanks momacat for the link. I am going to read every post I want to be ready for my new freedom from cigarettes, I tryed the gum. patch and chantex and they did'nt work, after a few days I was a mad woman. even my furbabies would not come near me lol, after reading the post here on the from the e-cig gives me new hope, and I am going to give it my best shot.

momacat I to am a moma to a cat, her name is Phoenix the little kitty that rose from the ashes
she was saved from a burning brush pile that had been burning for an hour. She litterly crawled out of the ashes and had to be pulled clear with a rake because of the intense heat. Thus the name Phoenix.
She was one week old. just starting to open her eyes. and fit in the plam of my hand. I bottle fed her and now she is over a year old and my baby

after the brush burned down we have no way of knowing if there was anymore kittens in there as there was only ashes left,

checking out the link momacat gave has a lot of great info, ok all here comes the questions lol.
I see different models of the 401 are these the same just with different names. can the supplies for 1 be used for the other?
can any of the e-liquid be used to fill the cartridges?? (I see so many yummy flavors lol)
the filled cartridges for the 401 you buy can they be used on any of the 401 models?
how long would a filled cartridge last.
how offten should I clean the atomizers? and what would be the best way to do it?
so far what I think I need to save up for is the e-liquid and maybe filled cartridges, and a USB passthrough,
do I need anything else?? is there anything else I need to know??

I told hubby about the e-cig and the Great people here. he thinks it's a great idea. but he has seen me try to quit smoking before and says
he will believe it when he sees it, I am not going to use the e-cig around him with his health problems. I don't know how the vapor will
effect him. I don't think I will have to go outside tho. maybe another room will be ok.
