Hi! I am trying to quit smoking but it goes really bad. I refuse to pay over 20€ for a 60ml so I ordered DIY flavourings for 100€ instead thinking it would be free from there. But It's not going very well so I'm still a smoker :(

Hope this community is helpful and understanding.

Big love

Hello, and welcome to ECF.

What sort of problems are you having? There's a lot of experience quitting smoking on this board, so if you let us know where things are sticking for you, someone around here should have some useful advice. We're glad to do what we can to help you quit.

Good luck!

You'll get it!! Stay with it, took me couple weeks to really get through cig cravings! Diy is the way! Vg can go bad but you'd know, for sure. Vg isn't a very good flavor carrier compared to pg, but too much pg will leak and may give throat hit but I likely want at least %20, up to %50 depending on the system. Stick to it, it works! And it's so damn cheap and fun

Hi and welcome - here's a thought ... mix up a batch of unflavoured and make yourself vape it at the nic strength that suits you for 10 days then see where you are.

When I smoked a pipe I found after 10 days I was used to any new tobacco, or tobacco I was reviewing for boutique blenders and could evaluate it objectively.

Do it or don't as you like but your taste buds do take time to get used to new or different things and this will give you a better base to judge from. Drink plenty water or dry white wine if you do try this and you just might find things are different.

The important thing is to not give up. If you give up your vaping/cessation efforts will come to an abrupt end. Many of us started out just trying it. Then we were dual-users for months, years....

Personally it took me almost 2 years to completely switch from smoking to vaping and quit the sticks for good.

You're on the right path :)

Need to read more about diy juices and how much time it takes for the juice to sit and be ready to be vaped...
Also take time to find flavours or recipies u like but it's much cheaper...
But even if u buy ready to vape juice then vaping is still cheaper than smoking So in terms of cost I don't understand why u would smoke cigs..
I think a good natural extracted tobacoo juice with the right nicotine and vg pg percentage is gonna be soooo similar in taste as if u smoke a cig so u will like it...
Either way u gonna find a juice u like for sure just don't give up..
It takes a little time at first to find your sweet spot and u may spend more money but in the end u gonna win :p
