Excellent news Tavish :D Kev is always really quick dispatching so I was hoping you would get it today :)

As Leftfield says, any problems or anything you aren't sure about just shout.

Oh & as the batteries don't have any memory & come with some factory charge, you can vape straight away with one while the other is on charge :)

:confused:Still not tried to fill it yet.. how does this unit work ? do you press the button when you take a drag or do I press the button before I take a puff ? tried pushing that button just to see what happens and nothing happens, no light comes on, maybe I need to fill it up first. My scottie dog Tavish is not impressed with me as he is waiting to go tatts... so will take him out then give this my full attention  gagging to try the cherry juice I got with it.

They might need charged if the light didn't come on. Usually they do come with a charge. Did you check both batteries? If neither light comes on you'll likely need to charge it up first.

(Thanks to SirVette for this tip) It might have a 5 click shut off protection so if you click the button 5 times reasonably quickly it could be what's needed to turn it on for the first time.

And yes, you need to press the button to heat up the liquid in the atomiser. It helps to warm it up by pressing the button around 1 - 2 seconds before you inhale.

I'll look around for a video on the 510 style atomisers and how to fill them for you. If I don't find one I'll write up a quick guide for you :)

Edit: here's a pretty quick video on it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AMHLcpAAI5Y or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lSevFPguBCc (there's no need for a syringe when you're filling the cartridge)

Because it's brand new, you might want to check for primer in the atomiser. All you'll need to do is blow through the atomiser (not attached to the battery) and see if anything comes out. It's best to do this over a paper towel or something. If anything comes out, blow it out a few times until there's no liquid coming out.

Some atomsiers have primer, some don't but it tastes bad so you'll really want it out if yours has it in there.

And again because it's brand new, here's what you'll need to do once you've charged your batteries (or if one of them has a charge already):

1- Take the cartridge off the atomiser and drop 6 straight drops right into the atomiser.

2- If you look into the cartridge it should have white cotton looking wadding inside. You should put around 7 - 10 drops of liquid in there (roughly) until it looks wet with the liquid. You might need to poke the wadding to the side slightly with a toothpick/needle/pin for the very first fill because it's going to be completely dry and you'll want the liquid to get to the bottom of the cartridge too.

3- Put the cartridge back onto the atomiser, and you want to try to line up the sides of the cartridge with the metal foil looking strip inside the atomiser so there's no plastic touching the metal bit. It's not essential to do this but it saves the possibility of the plastic getting heated.

You should be good to go after that! :D It's a lot easier than it sounds honestly, and once you've set it all up you'll get used to it quickly.

You should say which you have Riva or eGo. The batteries should have enough charge to use. The LED at the switch should light up. The eGo might need the button hit 5 times fast to turn on. Hit the button a sec. before taking a hit & inhale slowly.

Just to add to Leftfields excellent post. As well as pressing the button a couple of times to heat up the attie before taking a drag, you do also need to press & hold it while taking drags.

Here is another video about the Riva/ego (& all the other names it comes under :D) Showing you how to put it together etc -

Really good point, thanks I didn't think about that.

Some of the bigger batteries have a 5 button press switch on/switch off system. Try pressing the button 5 times in a row reasonably quickly then see if the button will light up then.

The kit is literally marketed as ego/riva but is named as an ego in the description. Just to keep it simple, it's an ego/riva right now 'till we're up and vaping I suppose :D

It's not good that the instructions don't tell you about the 5 clicks to activate :(

So what do you think of it so far? :D

I'm very impressed ! Was easy to fill just like you said it was(thanks for link) Love the cherry flavour, but got a bit carried away and a lil light headed so will order a lower strength. Very happy vaper !
Thank you all very much for your kind help.
