I'm finally settled down a bit and have been happy using eGo 1100 mah batteries and various clearomizers. Question is for this battery which replaceable heads should I use for the clearomizers? Should I use low resistance or what? My newbiness is overwhelming me! lol

2.00 ohm is usually a good mid LR. For 3.7 volt range unregulated battery like ego. There is a chart ( search ohms cahrt) and you can try 1.7 or go up higher than 2.00 some. Fresh charge on ego ( up to 4.2 diminishes kind fast then goes below 3.7 next until poops out) therefore it all is going to end up being in a range kind of vaping.

You can try LR heads if your using a ego battery. If you have an eGo Twist you can use SR heads. They way it works is, the lower resistance(ohms) the hotter the coil gets at the same voltage.

My big concern was that I would damage the batteries. So basically the charge just won't last as long with the lower resistance heads. Am I understanding this correctly? I got a Vision Clearomizer that came with 3 different size heads and wasn't sure what to do with them.

Correct, your battery charge won't last as long, but you will get warmer and more vapor; unless it's too LR and then it will just burn your juice.

Okay! Thank you so much. I shall vape happily on knowing the worst I can do is get burnt juice! I'm finding out experimentation is essential to vaping! And of course dousing my credit card in ice water to keep it from melting! You guys are the best!

I had the same questions Started with 650 mAh - 1000 mAh eGos and have two 1100mAh eGo twists coming in. My cartos are mixed LR & SR, so I was going to wing it until I read more! Thanks for the info everyone!
