Hi!! Im a newbie to vaping and forum

Hey guys! Im 21 from sydney, australia and im new to this e cigarette thing. Been smoking since 17, so for 5 years and its not only taking a toll on my health (persistant dry coughs) but is eating my bank balance at $17 for a pack of 25's.

I went overboard by buying $400 worth of supplies from v4l and am eagerly waiting next to the mailbox!

I originally heard of e cigs when somone posted that they accidentally chucked out their e-cig on fmylife.com and that peaked me interest! I bought it mainly for novelty but it could be a great stepping stone in quitting.

One question: i smoke winfield sky blues 6mg) and i dont really know anyone that smokes anything more than 18mg and after some skulking roumd this forum i noticed you guys all vape 16 mg, 32 mg etc.. And i bought a tonne of 4mg carts from v4l.. Would this be suitable for me? Or much too weak?

Hi Tyran! Just wanted to say Hi & welcome to the forum. I also went with low (4mg) cartos & juices when I started vaping...even though I was a heavy smoker. Since I like to vape all day long, I figured it was better to have the lower level.
I also have a couple packs of V4L cartomizers in higher nic levels in my stash, but I only use them when I feel like I'm craving a "real" cigarette.
This whole e-cig thing takes a bit of experimenting, but it is wonderful when you finally find your favorite flavor & strengths.

Welcome to the world of vaping and to the fourm! Wow $17 for a pack of cigs...unreal. At that rate it won't take long to make up for what you spent at V4L. Enjoy experimenting until you find what floats your boat

Welcome to the forum! The just might be just right for you. You never really know until you give it a try. If you need a little higher, buy some higher nic juice and mix them together.

wait a minute...17 us dollars? its not a bad idea to get 2 different strenghts, one being higher than you think you want, the other lower...that way you can mix and match them to your liking. for me, in the very beginning it was hard for me to fall asleep since i was puffing away on the thing constantly, loaded myself with nic and ...well...its hard to sleep when your all wired. now i vape lower nic the last couple hours before seepy seepy time. just food for thought.

$17 a pack? Youll deff save a load vaping. And the 4mgs might do ya straight if youre only smoking 8mg analogs, i use 24mg myself, but Newport 100s deliver something like 40mg per cig from what ive heard, it satisfies me though.

I can remember getting mad when they went up to $5 a pack on Newports here in SC, and outraged when i went on roadtrip to cali and they kept going up til almost $9 a pack in Arizona(and even more ...... that they dropped back to $5 in cali, after buying an $80 carton in AZ for fear of $10+ packs in cali)

Thats crazy tho, $17 a pack... i don't think i even would have started smoking

Welcome Tyrannojan to ECF, if there is anything you will learn here is that there is no right or wrong, everybody's taste are differnet and you just have to try it your self to see if you like it, if not you can always try 16, 24mg or more.

You should have stopped by one of the smoke shops on the Indian reservations. It's about $45 for a carton there.

Hahaha yeah, Australian taxes are insane 17AUD = 17.50USD atm? Duty free, they are 5.5AUD a pack, so im paying 11.5 in taxes for each pack I smoke. I initially thought 4mg would be okay but freaked out after I noticed noone vaped 4mg. And i wanted to do one massif order seeing shipping is 25USD and takes 2 to 3 weeks I hear. If its too weak i guess i have to order another shipment..
