Im from Brazil and i need some help from pro vapers.
I would like to know if i really need to torch the microcoil to do make it work in Nemesis, or i can heat it on the stove's flame(i know, noob question, but iI want to hear "yes you can).

I saw this guy that fixes the kanthal at the allen key, the at the atomizer and heated, and used long nose pilers to compress the wraps together, without any need of a torch. He said "do not apply to much pressure. just enouch to hold the wraps together" and then "do this a few times to make sure that are no gaps beteen the coils feft".

Would it work for me?

My iTaste comes today. I arleady expend 3m of kanthal with unsuccecefull coils.

But i would like to hear your opinion, guys. All welcome.

Thanks. And sorry about my anglish. Im Brazilian.

Have good day.

Welcome!

You have a gas stove? Heating on a gas flame from any source until the coil glows red for a few seconds will help begin the oxidation process and clean off any manufacturing nasties left behind. It's always a good idea to heat a new coil until red hot before using.

Some folks don't heat in fire but instead mount the coil in the atomizer and then pulse the battery for a few seconds on and off to achieve the same effect. Heat until red, release the power and squeeze the coil if needed to get the desired results.

I always heat mine until red for 10 to 15 seconds before vaping on a new coil.

People, i cant say anything but Thank you so much.
That was my doubt.
The "charada" is i can afford a Nemesis, but cant afford a nice torch.
And i got one lamme torch that exploded in my hands while i was setting the gas pressure.

But thats it.
Best forum ever, with the best members.
Thatks again.
I wish Brazil was like USA..
Here they just curse and fight, instead of trying to help and get some "thanks" back.
You guys have a nice day.
Now I'll wait for my iTaste VF and try to do my first dual microcoils ever.
And done i come back in here and tell'ya what i got.

Cya.

And thanks!

Oh, and thanks God by Google Tradutor!

Susan, thanks very much for your concern. But, as i said, i have no torch. My "confusion" is if i can make my microcoils using the heating os the atomizer attached to the Nemesis, compressing the wraps together from each end, using long nose pliers.
But, if i understood right, the guys said i can. So it makes me happier. Less money to spend, becouse in Brazil a good torch is very expansive.
See?

But thank you very much trying to help. I like.

the only reason the torch is the prefered is because it makes the coils glow quicker. Your gas stove's flame is not nearly as hot as a torch, but it will work.

Thanks for your comment, Fallen. Im glad i registerd in this forum and created this topic. Its being pure usefull.
Thanks you.

Yeah, i already agree without you even saying. "Not that much".
But, it's my first dual microcoil, and i was torchless.
Hope you guys understand and give me some credit.

Thanks again for those who helped. I Appreciated.
Have a nice evening and a good night (it's 5:32 pm in Brazil).

By the way, i love white shirts. Have six of them.

Yes, you can make microcoils without using a torch! I have a "one-hand" disability. A torch would be VERY DANGEROUS for me to use. I use the battery to heat up the coil and then I compress the coils w/ long nose pliers, just like you did!:)
