I found this website last night when I hit my frustration limit with smoketip. I can't rant too much about their product because I successfully quit analogs with it. It has been about 3 months since I've had one but the smoketip e ciggs aren't strong enough and I feel myself thinking about analogs. I figured I'd ask for help on a better product before I slip up. I don't care if it looks like an analog or not. I'm nervous about my capabilities of using e-juice but am willing to try if that is the best option. I'd like something that produces more vapor and more flavor. If you read this far, I thank you! Any suggestions for me?

Smoketip makes a great product, they have excellent CS and excellent warranty.

With that said, if you're more than an occasional smokers, they probably won't do it for you. You have to suck your brains out to get a hit. My mom quit with a smoke tip so I can't say anything bad about them but long term I'd get something with a bigger battery.

I have an joye ego and my mom has a Riva ego that we got from Liberty Flights. Love it, can't say enough great things about it. That, a box of boge 2.0 cartomizers and a couple drip tips and you're good to go. $29.99 for the riva, 7.99 for the boge cartos and about 1.70 for a drip tip.

Next stop after that, juice shopping!

Welcome to ECF!

Fear not the e-juice for it is your friend! LOL! Seriously, though...it really is your friend and it's not as hard or scary as you think to fill your own cartridges or cartomizers.

You can take a look at Liberty-Flights and shop around. Click the Discount Code tab at the top to get another 20% off your entire order and shipping is a flat $2.99.

If you smoke less than a pack per day, check out the 510. It's a nifty little analog type e-cig.

If you smoke more than half a pack then you should check out either the Riva or the eGo. Both have a large capacity so they'll last a long time between charges.

I'm not sure what nicotine level you were using, but if you know then I would suggest upping the strength a bit. That will help out a lot if you're having cravings.

On their website it looks like the highest mg juice they offer is 16mg. Most vapers use about 24mg. A different kit would help, but higher mg juice might be just the ticket too.

I've heard great things about the Go-Go, never tried it myself but it's on my list. It's a bigger battery model that uses cartomizers (two piece system like the smoketip) but people are saying that one charge and one cartomizer is lasting them all day.

There are a TON of options. The problem is selection one, or even two. They gave you some good ones above. I can only give you a brief story/journey as a quick answer.

I started with a TRIO. It was OK, since I picked it up locally to "try e-cigs". Helped me decide to quit, find ECF, and move to 510's. Got REAL TIRED of charging batteries. Also explored mods and modding since I had a soldering iron and the inclination. Went to all kinds of 3.7 volt stuff, mostly with replaceable 14500 batteries (highly recommended). Vaping was great. Using atties and dripping. Still not 100% happy tho, but quit nonetheless and stayed off the cigs.

So I decided to try a 5 volt Passthrough. Loved it. Loved 5 volts. Built a 5v box mod. It was great, and portable. 2 AA sized 14500 batteries in a 3xAA box, with atomizer sticking out the top. DIY stuff. There are other ways, vv models, etc. But you get the idea.

Anyway, the bottom line is that you have to have enough "oomph" or you keep thinking about cigs. I theorize that full flavored former-smokers experience this the most. Just not enough oomph. So there's a couple of ways to go about "oomph"

1) use the 3.x volt stuff, and Low Resistance atomizers/cartos. Now, I don't usually suggest anything below 2.0 ohms, and the 1.5 ohm atties have been known to fry eGo type batteries and are a bit too hot for most true 3.7 volt stuff
2) Go 5 volts (or vv even better).

I use option 2 (5 volt mods). I hardly ever think about cigs. It is a cig-like hit, warmer vapor, no long-drag crap, and no stress on the device because it is designed for "oomph". You don't have to make any of them (unless you want to).. there are many 5 volt and vv mods available, along with the "off the shelf" 3.x volt stuff, in many price ranges.

Keeps me off cigs.

Hope you find what works for you!

I am a newbie to this too but I ordered a Joye EgoT and that has a large tank. I use 36mg e liquid and mix it with vg to bring it to 18 mg using online calculators for e juice, make 2 ml of it at a time ( 1ml, 36mg pg + 1 ml vg) and manage to vape nearly all day with it. I have had some leak problems but am getting better at handling it and today was not so messy as yesterday( when I got it) You just need a syringe 2 ml preferably, pull the plunger out, let the needle along with the cover, remain fitted in front . After you have poured/dropped 1 ml Pg/ or whatever quantity(less if so desired)into the back opening of the syringe, top it with Vg to 2 ml mark, mix with a toothpick so that its even, fit the plunger back ...slowly. Remove the front needle and with the syringe spout put it into the cartomiser slowly till 3/4th full. I don't add any water because it causes leaks in the ego T. Gives huge vapour and good cigarette feeling!

You need'nt worry there is absolutely no contact of the eliquid with skin with this method.

Welcome to vaping !

Based on my experience, obtaining the right taste, for me was using an 5 v mod ....Ejuices tastes different on different atomizers and voltage.
I started with an ego-style Riva kit, with small batteries (only 650mah) and used for the very beginning standart atomizers and cartridges.
Taste and vapours are determined basically by the atomizer your are using and the ejuice.
Using PG (propylen glycol) juice gives a small amount of vapours, a good throat hit, as I noticed, it is used for stealth vaping.
Using VG (vegetal glycerine) juices gives a lot of vapours, but not a very strong throat hit

I figured out DSE 901 atomizers are giving a vey fine taste, maybe considering buying an adaptor for these attys is a good ideea...

What kind of e-cig are you using ?

all the best, Mario

BTW ejuice is easy with 510 carts (carts that are used with the atomizer). You can see the stuffing. The bottle has a dropper tip. You drip juice into the stuffing. You want the stuffing of a cart to look damp but not a puddle. Occasionally a cart will decide to dump its juice in your mouth or elsewhere. So don't overfill.

Blue foam stuffing can be used to replace the white cart stuffing when the white stuffing get cranky or bitter. Here is precut blue foam stuffing for 510 (only 510 - I actually cut these down for a smaller ecig I have):
https://strictlyejuice.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=67_49&products_id=222

With blue foam it becomes easy to remove the foam, rinse under running water, pat totally dry. You can clean the plastic part of the cart and shake that out and dry the juice cup with a Q-tip. Then it's like a new cart again. On a full fill with blue foam, remove the foam, fill the juice cup 1/2 way (2/3 only if you are daring and more willing to risk it dumping out). Insert the tapered end of the foam, press the foam down into the juice, then reposition the foam at the top edge of the juice cup (an unbent paper clip is a handy tool). Then top off with 2-3 drops - whatever it needs to look damp on top. Blue foam is the most popular cart restuffing material.

After a while people usually get annoyed with carts and switch to cartomizers (those Boge 510 standard resistance ones are very nice, soft cap, no syringes needed)

BTW - NoSmokeVA.com carries a very very nice PCC for the standard size 510 batteries - can charge one battery, hold another, and hold 6 accessories (carts, attys, cartos). Just search there for PCC - the lower priced thing that comes up is the PCC alone.

You know, you can get blank cartomizers to fit the smoke tip and fill them yourself. V4L sells them or most vendors sell cartomizers for a KR808 which is what the Smoke Tip is. It's not going to improve the battery though which is what you need to get a better hit and longer life.

Thanks for the idea. Do I have to buy blank ones of can I fill the empty ones I have that came with it?

I'm using the 16mg and it isn't enough vapor or nic. The go-go looks verrry tempting :)

You can do either. Top off your Smoketip cartos or buy some blanks and fill them with your own juice. It'll help a little, but not a huge amount.

You probably will be happier with a bigger battery pv.

The only issue for a newbie with something like the echo or Go-Go (which I plan on getting) is that the cartomizers are really big. If you don't like the juice you fill them with, you're sorta stuck. I happen to know the juices I like at this point so that's not a problem for me, but if your still trying out juices and nicotine levels you're sort of committed once you fill up a big cartomizer.

But I love the idea of the huge battery and huge cartomizer! I definitely plan on getting one myself.
