Hi, I'm new and just started vaping with the volt after seeing a few reviews on this site as a good starter cigarette.
I've only had it for about half a day, it came incredibly quick, and I'm pretty happy with it.
I wasn't a heavy smoker before, I'd smoke about 3 cigarettes a day and generally only when I needed a "mind break" from work.
Before vaping, my favorite cigarettes were bold flavored American Natural Spirits. Though now with vapes, there's a larger number of flavors, so I decided to go with a sweet flavor pack and started with the cherry flavor.
I'm not a huge fan of the cherry flavor, it's not bad but not as sweet as I would have hoped. I wonder though, how true to life are the tobacco flavors? I'm thinking of trying Smokeless image's tobacco sampler next.

I hope to learn a lot from this forum, and maybe make some new friends.

A lot of the e juice reviewers on the e juice forum like the tobaccos that are naturally extracted from the leaves--more of a true tobacco taste. There are several companies, like Vaperite that sell these. I would try those first. And read some of the reviews on that forum to give you some ideas.

Welcome to the ECF--yes you will make a lot of friends here. Count me as one of your first.

Hi Tasty, I'm new here too as of today. I'm also getting a Volt which should be in the mail when I get home. I am pumped.

I've been on and off with e-cigs for a few months, most of the offs have to do with displeasure in the quality of e-cigs I had...hoping the Volt will rectify that end. The other part of the equation is the relentless hunt for an e-liquid I am really happy with. I think I found that too recently.

So I'm back on and hope the Volt keeps me back on. I am determined to quit real cigs (pack a day or more here) for good, for myself and partially to prove my nay-sayer friends wrong. Healthy reason, right...ha ha.

I think you'll find that there is no real accurate tobacco flavor. There is a thread here dedicated to that notion...I believe it is stickied. I know I have tried some that are horrendous. I'm kind of in the mode of using juice that has some fruitiness, but still has some smoky kick too.

I decided on the Volt, after a few months of thinking it over. I've seen E-cig's invade the local malls, and the gas stations now sells one for $5 called the Krave. I know that price seems too good to be true, but I figured the technology is now mature enough that if I got something with good reviews that it would end up being just what I wanted from smoking. The volt's price was right, $30 not $100 to get started. I have to say it feels like a quality product. You know what it's like holding an Iphone? That's what holding a volt is sort of like.

I never really was a heavy smoker, I could go an entire weekend without smoking. I mostly liked it when I wanted a break to clear my head.
