Haha, the main thing I'm worried about is absorbing too much nicotine! If my liquid is 18 nicotine, does that mean it's equivalent to an 18 mg transdermal patch? So the whole bottle equals one patch?

The 18 nicotine is 18mg/ml, but I'm not sure how it equate to an 18mg transdermal patch. Assuming it's a 30 ml bottle it contains 540 mg of nicotine.

And how much danger am I in of my battery exploding? It's not a diy device so it shouldn't be any more dangerous than my phones, right?

The MVP 20 is a good solid device, there's always a chance of it exploding but the same goes for your cell phone. Most of the incidents you hear of are from mechanical mods (yours is a regulated mod) over taxing the battery causing it to go into thermal overload.

Sorry to be annoying but this liquid tastes so good. :) I'm just enjoying it so much!

Just wait, you'll find more and more flavors you like.. then you'll want more tanks/RDAs/RTAs... and more devices to run them on...

Nope. 18mg means 18mg/mL. So for every 1mL of e-liquid there is 18mg of nicotine. That's some pretty high nic stuff (at least to me), if you spill it on yourself be sure to wash/rinse your hands thoroughly. You shouldn't see any negative side effects even in extreme situations (don't go drinkin' the stuff though) such as spilling a bottle or accidentally getting some in your mouth.

Meh. Depends entirely on how you're using it, and a slew of other variables. You sound like a smart chap though, I think you're in the clear.

Thank you, except I'm a chapette! :D

I know! I already do! I have 2 more tanks on the way, lol! :) Thanks for the info about the nicotine.

If you were a smoker, then it's hard to really overdose on nicotine with vaping. You'll know when that happens, you'll be so nauseous you don't even want to vape anymore! Usually, you'll vape untill your body decides it's satisfied. So don't worry about the nicotine.

Thanks for this! Monday night I vaped a lot, and then had restless legs at sleep time. So I want to avoid that. Hopefully with the lower nicotine I will. I just wish I had more flavors on the way.

For cleaning a tank, is rinsing with water good enough or do I have to boil it or something? :)

A simple rinse is usually good enough, no need to go crazy.

Oh, also wondering, how do you know when to replace the coil?

It's kind of a matter of preference. Personally I replace coils pretty early, as soon as I notice vapor production/flavor starts to change. For me, Nautilus/SubTank coils last about a week or two.

There are ways to clean out heads and stuff, particularly for the Sub Tank/Atlantis/Nautilus, but imo it's no big deal to buy another pack of heads.

In terms of rebuildables it's nice (and help$) just pulling the wick out, slapping a new one in there, and it's a fresh vape. Coils only really need to be replaced if they start getting unreliable/ohms start fluctuating/you officially deem them too grimy. I've been using the same coils in my Doge for about 6 months, and I have a lifetime supply of Japanese Organic Cotton. In total I've spent probably 3$ on maintaining the build in my Doge over the last 6 months. If I was tossing heads every week and whatnot, I'd easily be up to 30-50$ spent.

Wow, that's all beyond me right now, haha. I'm just sticking to my easy store bought coils and tanks. As long as they're made to go together hopefully I'm being safe. :) Thanks for the info!

The internet is the best place to learn, without salespeople trying to tell you that 'you gotta have this or that'! I learned how to clean and dryburn my coils from the internet, and later on learned to build my own coils too. YouTube tutorials and reviews can be great!

Yes! I'm still sort of overwhelmed but I'm starting slowly I guess. Just need my lower nicotine menthol and hopefully I can quit the analogs. I did smoke much less since Monday so far!

Good for you! Each analog not smoked is another small victory, before long you won't even pick one up.

I am hoping and praying! Thanks. :)

Edit: just to add that I've smoked maybe half or less of my "normal" 25 to 35 cigs since Monday night. I'm really thrilled. I feel better after a few hours without smoking. Last night I smoked because I had too much nicotine through the day. And I smoked this morning because the sweet juices are just too much to handle in the morning. I am so glad I'm cutting down though. It's like a miracle. Hoping I'll cut down further with the low nicotine menthol once I get it. I'm probably one of the most hardcore "can't quit" smokers. Just nothing has worked until now.

Changing flavors throughout the day really helps to prevent you getting bored or getting a flavourblock (vaper's tongue). I love to start my day fresh with a good menthol. Later on, I'll change to a nice tobacco. In the afternoon I like something lighter, like a fruit-liquid. In the evenings I prefer sweeter and full flavours, bakery or desert liquids, but a good coffee-flavour will do too. And I finish my day the way it began: with menthol.
