i'm new into this and order my first mod and atomizer from Aliexpress (joyetech evic primo 2.0). Sorry for bad English, i'm from Pakistan.
Actually my mod shows "Atomizer low" all the time when i connect the atomizer with the mod. resistance of the coil is 0.30. i went to the nearest vaping shop and he check with different tanks but all the time mod is showing same error. I also buy new samsung authentic batteries and tried many things like cleaning the 510 pin, pull out batteries and than reinsert it by pressing fire button, place business card bottom of the atty. Any one know how to fix it? and the atty i have is OBS engine. Thanks :)

I would try another coil as well, since you haven't. It's not necessarily a good sign that your attomizer worked in other mods, but some are just.... cranky. I get that response from an IPV-5 mod I have unless the coil is screwed in super tightly or it's just a dud coil, it happens. If not, I'd say send it back (if you can) I'm not really sure how aliexpress handles that sort of thing.

Good luck!

hi! thanks for the reply. No i didn't try another coil. The boy in the shop checked my ATTY(same coil) on other mods , they all worked perfect.. But when he checked it with my mod, it showed the error.
Sounds like you need to try other Atties on your mod.If none work send it back.

So, at the shop he tried your atty on other mods, but did he try other atties on your mod? If a different atty works on your mod, then you know that it's probably just an issue between *this* atty and *this* mod, but if other atties also don't work on your mod, then you know it's a definite problem with the mod (or perhaps the batteries?).

Sounds like a stuck 510 pin. Have you tried to gently move it to see if it goes up and down? If it's stuck again gentle pushing to see if you can get the pin to go up might be all that you need to do.
thanks for the reply, yes i check the 510 pin with atty screwdriver, i think the 510 spring works almost fine but i'll try tomorrow morning by pulling it up, otherwise i will send it back to supplier.

Can you tell me please that how can it be the batteries issue? Because i was thinking about the batteries too. At now the mod showing batteries voltage 3.90V and 3.91V. The coil is 0.30 ohm (but mod showing it 0) and wattage is 60W. I don't know whether 60W is good to go with this voltage and with these batteries.

Well you can't vape it properly I wouldn't think if the mod's registering 0. Really, though, to help prime your coil you'd want to slowly raise the wattage until you were getting a satisfying vape. I vaped my sub-ohm tank at around 30 watts but 60 isn't unreasonable I would think, unless it's harsh/horrible. I think your batteries would handle that wattage okay, and if you are certain your batteries are authentic, I think it would be fine but you may want a lower wattage than 60.

But at this point, esp since other atomizers wouldn't work on your mod, just in case it's an electrical issue, I wouldn't try to vape it/run it unless you've got the device working correctly. I would take them out and try again tomorrow with a different coil, do your thing with the pin, if that doesn't fix the issue, I'd send it back.

Hm. You didn't happen to order from alivape inc Store did you? I'm seeing something on a Russian forum (via translate, so it's not so easy to understand) that a) the evic primo first version had problems with the 510, and b) that this store in particular has sold the first version as "V 2.0."

Anyway, there are apparently 510 connection problems with Joyetech, so it's probably the mod, not the batteries or anything else.

I would try to return for your money back, but if not, maybe try with a heatsink to fix the 510 issue (from another fasttech forum discussion):

"If all else fails then try using a heat sink with a floating and/or adjustable 510 pin."

"The 510 pin on the atty is a bit too short and doesn't protrude much. Over time and with continual screwing/unscrewing it might cause it to not be able to make to contact with the mod. A heat sink with a floating or two way adjustable 510 pin might help make a connection.

SKU 2761500 (floating pin)
SKU 2404002 (both pins are adjustable)
SKU 2727405 (non adjustable)"

Good luck! I understand how frustrating this is!

Welcome and glad you joined.
Sorry to hear about your bad luck. I have a few RDA's that will not connect to a cheap mod clone but work work well on the OEM mod same version.
" i think the 510 spring works almost fine but i'll try tomorrow morning by pulling it up, otherwise i will send it back to supplier." Probably the best solution if all else fails.
