When I got to 3,000 posts, mine said "PV Master" -- so when I became a subscriber, I just HAD to change that, to show how hilarious that is. :D The only thing I'm a master of is blabbing; I was going to say "typing," but that's hilarious too, I have so many typos I have to backup and fix. ;)

What was it supposed to mean? Poly Vinyl Master?

"Personal Vaporizer" master... which is a riot, where I'm concerned. "PV Wuss" would be more accurate; I was literally *terrified* to even dry burn my coils when I started, nevermind any kind of rebuilding thing -- I *insisted* that I would never do that, oh no, that's just not a thing I could do. Yeah right. My curiosity trumped my terror and resistance, and although I sometimes have a very hard time *seeing* the lil tiny bits, now I build my own coils and wick them with rayon, and these rebuildable tanks are SOOOOOOOOO much better than those little kangers I started with.

However tonight I'm getting my nice SmokTech cartotank setup with this yummy blueberry muffin; I keep getting a burnt taste, a hot metal sort of taste, using it in my mini PT II, and I think it's because this juice is really gunky. maybe it'll work better in a cartotank.

I haven't actually had to ask a single question yet (probably why I'm still stuck in the "New Members" section) because every one I've had so far has already been answered somewhere in this forum. Everyone seems to be very respectful without the backhanded comments and no question is a stupid question. This forum really seems to be dedicated to helping those new to vaping and dedicated to supporting all of us staying away from analogs.

Good luck!

Hehehe... just wait till you get into the political threads... Or god help us all, the "my mod costs more than yours so it's definitely better" threads... ;) I personally love clones, but then I buy most of my clothes at walmart. Not rich, never have been, and unless I happen to hit 6 lucky numbers, I'm sure I never will be. I refuse to buy a thing just because of a label on it.

But yeah, as far as technical stuff, folks around here are marvelously helpful and generous.

Please tell me there aren't spelling nazis on this forum, i post on a farging ipad with the wutocorrect off 'cause it just makes it worse.

Well I'm alil bit of a grammar Nazi, but I try to confine the criticism to my own comments.lol

I'm a dreadful spelling, grammar, and punctuation nazi, but I try to sit on my hands and bite my tongue and keep it to myself... unless someone is just being annoying in general, and then it gives me a good way to pick at them. :D

PS: Cloud Minder... I actually *really* appreciate you not using autocorrect, I get so tired of seeing "Andrea"... ;)

Hello, from one Star Trak nerd to another. I know you'll quit, after two or three days of vaping, if you go back to the stinkies, it just stinks, literally. You sound like you have it under control with your set-up. I quit 2+ years ago and just this year got around to using the protank2 mini. I was an E-goC user. For me it was about not using cigs. I make my own juice now and save lots of money. So much money, that I just got around to ordering the itaste vv3. I think my juices will taste better with the vv3.
Good Luck on August 2nd!

p.s. one of my names on a site is "t.pring", Do you remember her from Star Trek?

Sure, you are, or rather were Spock's wife, from Amok Time.

How's Stonn doing?

I had the advantage of starting with some decent equipment due to the knowledge of others, but always looking to learn more. I think I will eventually end up dripping, but I wish there was some snap on thing. I'm not really interested in the "building" aspect, I just want something to work.

BTW, one of my names on another site is Lord Garth of Izar (Whom Gods Destroy) Garth is sooooo me.

Additionally, I am the inventor of The "Steeler Kirk" avatar. Basically a Captain Kirk with the Delta Insignia replaced with a Pittsburgh Steelers logo.

This is true, does come in handy for a quick spot buff though. Have a small bad smudge on the your wax job, vape some clouds on it, buff it with some cloth, all like new again:D

Although, did get my first Vaping burn. Damn clone mech switch locked in firing mode, had just gone to the bathroom, came back to a fog filled London scene. First thought was fire!! but it smelled really good. Damn, grab rag, ouch, ooo, damn hot, unscrew Aqua,, fraking drip tip fell off, hit my thumb knuckle, and burnt the crap out of it, I am fortunate that I learn me vape well, Had Sony VTC4's, a quality build. Same thing happen with an inferior or wrong batt, it would of been a totally different story.

Stuff is going to happen when one starts to vape. Accidents are a part of life. One's best safety device is proper care and knowledge. Heck even the best regulated device can fry on you. Vape long enough and one will. Knowing what to do is just as important as having proper gear.

Guess I should of gotten the Fatdaddy's mag and rice pin upgrades a week earlier. Timing is everything

Vape long and Prosper.!!!!

I had my first bad experience too, not dramatic like yours, but involved me. I started out with a Kanger pro 3 mini on a Spinner 2, but thought it would be a good idea to buy a 3 pack of disposable Voodoo tanks, so I could put some other flovors in easy rotation.

That was a good idea, in the same way that running your car in an enclosed garage is a good idea. For each one, I got like 20 good puffs out each of them before they flooded, and I sucked up fluid, and actually chemically burnt my lip with a 36mg fluid.

Never buying junk that cheap again.

Vape, and Long Life.

I agree with PhreakingPanda on the MVP2. Love it.....I use an ismoka tank on it. Since I like the VW mods, thinking about getting a Hana Mod for getting into rebuilds. I don't think I want to go mechanical mods, but who knows.... there is so much out there!

While I like the idea of dripping, I think for me building the coil wick assembly would be a pain in the ..... Wish they had a snap on deal for drippers. I do electronics work sometimes but for me, it would be just that : work. Not into that, but would like to try dripping. In fact, since I'm mixing flavors and plan on doing my own extractions, I can't see any way to refine and test fluids except with a dripper.

well, while I don't chase clouds, the seem to appear where ever I am. Just have to deal with it I guess. Do have to clean me glasses more often, and crack the car winders when exhaling. :D Otherwise they film up fast.

ROFL... I noticed that yesterday; was sitting in the truck reading and vaping away while waiting on my husband, and it was raining at the time. When I looked up, it appeared that some young folks might be steaming up the windows, they were so fogged over. But it was just me and my Kayfun. :D

Building the coil is the easy part; getting it mounted, maybe a bit more challenging, depend on the device -- it's easier to stick wires *thru* screws than to wrap around screws, but it's not impossible; but getting the proper kind/amount of wick, now there's a challenge, which is why I love rayon, it's not so finicky.

But they do actually make something like you're talking about; "510 atomizers" -- "bridgeless atomizers" -- basically they're just pre-made, disposable dripping atomizers. I could never really get the hang of them, the atomizer is actually made of wire mesh and it just gave me a lot of hot metal taste, but a lot of people really like them, for dripping without having to build their own coils. They're pretty cheap too; I think you can buy a 5-pk for like 8 or 10 bucks.
