Hi, just got my gear in the mail

Hi, I'm new to vaping and to this community. Before even joining I've been lurking and every google search about products, vendors, rules, laws, anything I needed to know about e-cigarettes led me to this site. I was conflicted between the two of these products so I got both of them. The one of the left is a Kangertech EVOD non-vv 650mah with a mini protank II and the one on the right is the eGo Twist VV 650mah with a vivi mini nova. I mean so far I love the looks of both, but the fit and finish of the EVOD is nicer IMO.

Alittle about myself, I've been smoking for about 4.5 years. I would say the first year just socially but when I started working in construction I became easily a 1PAD smoker. After I quit that place and started serving, I have about 1-2 cigarettes a day. One to wake up and one before bed. I'm hoping vaping will gradually help me stop smoking altogether.

Welcome aboard. I currently use an evod 650 and mini protank with 1.5 or 1.8 ohm coils all day at work and love it. Used Vivi Nova for a while, didn't really like them much. Just my opinion. Be careful, you will start buying mods soon.

I mean I've only been using the both of them for a couple hours and prefer the BBC over having the wicks at the top. I have the 1.8 ohm head with the EVOD currently and tbh the throat hit really surprised me.

Also I have already been warned but tbh I don't know what is meant by mods. I mean so far I'm pretty happy with the product as is, how do I make it better? Is it by getting a stronger battery? Different resistance heads?

A mod is one of those bigger devices such as this that give you more power and more control over your vape. Plus they're cool looking As for making it better, if you're enjoying it as is just let it go. You'll get the urge to go mod shopping soon enough. It took me about a month until I got one.

My favorite so far is velvetcloudvapor.com. I really like White Beard an Blue Beard. I also like virginvapor.com. I have found that both have great customer service, but I'm not sure if they ship to Canada. I hope so!

Welcome to the forum, brother.

As for juices in Canada, there are quite a few options if you go the online route (vast majority of us do). The two I'd recommend off the top would be Jugheads and Gentlemen's Reserve - both in Canada (so no potential customs issues), both have great juice lines.
