I am sorry all, I have failed you greatly today! I had done very well, two the day before yesterday, two and a half the day before, and four yesterday. Today, well, was bad:(
I knew it would be, so I didn't fight as hard as I could have, realy didn't want to.
My wifes Grandmother passed Tuesday, today was the service. I didn't go about things as I have been, I went right for an analog, unlike the ecig as I have done. I did vape on the hour and half drive each way, 100 miles each way. But chain smoked there.
Her extended family is odd as an understatment, I don't know where she came from! My MIL and her boyfreind showed up and all he wanted to do was stand there and badmouth my FIL, not aproriate at all! And I was just waiting for a fitght to break out between her Aunt and one of the Uncles over property or money, the entire time, it's a wild bunch!
I am sorry, you have been of great support, and I have let you down! I am hoping with my next order, all 36mg, it will be enough to help pull me through these times in the future.
Tomorow is another, hopefully better, day.

You are no failure, you are a work in progress. We all are. Just remember we all have good days and bad days. How we choose to handle them is up to us. I also had a bad day right after being so proud of myself for not having a cigarette, actually I had gone 72 hours and then BOOM. My daughters Father had to have open heart surgery and this was a dark cloud. This is what I told myself. This is a difficult time and I am allowed to choose to have a limited amount of cigarettes. So I had a few that day. Once the surgery was over and he was good to go and my girls were happy, back to my life. It took 3 days and I was allowing myself 1 cigarette before my shower. Did that for a couple days and I am back on track!!!!!! As long as we keep trying and never give up, then no-one, not even ourselves, can call us failures. YOU ROCK.
By the way.......... I am a drug addict. My drug of choice is NICOTINE. :(

Yes, my condolences too!!
Don't forget, this is not nicotine patches or gum!!! I was introduced to this as a way of smoking where i CAN'T. Then I realized I had hope, a chance of not smoking! THATS HOPE!!! At least for me! This is awesome in that I might actually stop smoking, In the meanwhile i love the flavor, and i know i went from 30 "rollies" a day to two instantly. THATS AWSOME!!! I didn't sign up to quit but i might. I'm loving every flavor I try. vaping is awesome, dont worry bout quitin, just enjoy vaping!

So sorry that you and your wife have not only lost a Grandmother but also that you had to see a side of your inlaws that was not probably in keeping with the spirit of the day...honoring the Grandmother.
I also am on the path to ending my addiction to analogs. Every time I choose not to smoke and choose to vape, is one more victory in my way of thinking. For years, I taught myself to use analogs to self medicate and I am now giving myself permission to deal with life as it comes...full on. Sounds like you are also on the path to becoming who you are.
I also want to acknowledge you for participating in this forum and sharing your journey.
Vape on!!!!!!

My condolences also....like others have said just take it one day at a time and don't beat yourself up over having cigs. You did say you vaped the entire trip so look at that as a victory over analogs! I also started vaping, not to quit, but to be able to sneak a 'smoke'.
You will be fine and I hope the rest of this year will be much nicer for you!

Andy, I join others in 'sorry to hear about you and your wife's loss'.

Actually, I don't think you failed. I know for me, every time I smoked a cigarette I used it as feedback in my quitting process and a process it was. I, also, got from my feedback that my most vulnerable time is in the morning...now it no longer is.(s)

You'll get there because it sounds like that's what you want and that's the key or it was for me...good luck!

You didn't let anyone down, you were frazzled! It is no wonder you reached for an old friend in time of need! Don't beat yourself up over it, just move on!

I am sorry to hear about your wife's loss, and of all the stress which was probably not easy on her either! Hang in there... and if you need anything we are here for you! {{{hugs}}}
