Hi everyone, been researching here for half a year, vaping on and off while I learn before I make a complete switch. One of which was buying really cheap B&M juice lol it was awful! I had some issues along the way which one of them stumps me.

When I vape certain flavors, these are better quality, especially cola, I get pain in my shoulders. I ordered a variety and it just so happens the natural watermelon I got DOES NOT DO THIS -HOORAY! So it is the same vg/pg ratio the only difference would be artificial vs natural flavorings. Am I maybe correct in thinking that artificial flavors are bothering me. It does hurt enough to stop vaping and go smoke, and the smoking does not clear it up fast. It would take a whole day to go away. Which makes me doubt it's withdrawal.
I am very attached to my smokes and I think my vaping journey so far is learning to trust my PV. A provari mini and various kanger tanks. Plus WTA is in my arsenal and I do respond very well to it. So my vaping gear isn't the problem.

I have plans to drop analogs in December during winter break so I can focus on quitting outside of classes. However, natural juice is expensive so I wanted other opinions on why cola would hurt really bad, other flavors just hurt, while natural flavors don't hurt me at all.
OR is this psychosomatic pain? Figured it could be that as well.
I also live on coffee! Just in case that is pertinent. I know I have to bring the caffeine down b/c it's too much if I'm vaping and not smoking. Any input would be appreciative! And Hi everyone!

are you quite sure its shoulder pain and not a lung pain? When I first got my e-go T,I managed to play with it enough (experimenting with a new toy, you know), that I had some pretty good lung pain the next morning. Having had pneumonia several times, I am quite familiar with what the lungs feel like when they hurt. Is the pain underneath your shoulder blade? That would be an indication. I put mine down too a beginners mistake, but it sounds like you've been vaping for a while, so it might not be that. Beyond that, definitely only get juice from reputable sources!

It's under my collar bones on the fronts of my shoulders. It's within 20 mins of vaping and does get worse the more I vape. 12 mg the same amt puffs like an analog. I smoke 15-20 newports a day as a baseline. 12 mg does kill a craving so I know it's ok while I still have a little room to puff a few more.

I'm glad he asked that question, because I was wondering the same thing.
I used to get (this is back in 2011 before I started vaping), an odd sensation on my right shoulder area; turned out it was the top of my right lung.
It's gone now; by 'it' I mean the top of the right lung.

What if it's referred pain from heartburn? Wouldn't the acidity of cola maybe differ from watermelon? I know many people suffer from heartburn in the beginning of a changeover.

Does anyone get shoulder pain and have bad heartburn here? Is that possible?

I'm scared to test it, it really does make me miserable and no pain med takes it away.
