Couple reasons I like evods so much is I love the round tip and bottom coil/teeny wicks. They are mindless. There is nothing to think about. Top coils have long wicks that require some attention to avoid dry hits and flat tips require attention putting in your mouth.

With evods you just put it up and draw, keep the angle below level and your good to go. Totally mindless and relaxing. You can get 10 evods from fasttech for less than 25 bucks too. That's a 2+ year supply with proper care and a pack or 2 of heads.

Hi Check out Vaperite.com , they are a great group of people with a good website and they sell all the great tool and make all their juices IN HOUSE. I would recommend skipping the kit and buying an ego twist 1000 battery with a vapeonly mini bcc clearomizer tank. Then order a large vile of a tobacco juice (It won't taste the same as a burning cigarette) and ordering two sample packs. It works great and I find that I do not need any back up batteries. I would recommend buying some replacement coils though because you will be vaping a lot early on and you may need to replace the coil after a week. Also get a usb charger to charge your battery. The 1000 is worth it and if you buy the kit you will only end up buying the 1000 ego or a better battery later. Go big early on and you will save money in the long run.

But seriously, this is a great store with great people, feel free to call them up, super friendly and knowledgeable.

You guys rock.

OK... I have determined that the start-up set-up I need will start with a Clearomizer such as the Kanger 510 Clearomizer.

I am assuming that I will go with a Ego 510-T start-up kit, and also purchase the add-ons, unless I take the advice of just building it up manually.

Looking at this (not necessarily this company) so far. Am I on the right track? Anything I am missing?

DV eGo-T Starter Kit - 900mah
eGo C Twist D - 900mah VV - Stainless
Kanger ProTank
Kanger ProTank Coil Replacement **5 Pack - 1.8-2.1 ohms

Thanks again everyone!

I know that seeing the e-liquid looks nice, though I HIGHLY recommend trying all of the options noted above. Many here have had a fair bit of experience with cartos, clearos, attys etc... And we have all formed a different opinion on them. You really need to experiment for yourself. Find out what liquid delivery system functions best for you. All mentioned above are GREAT options. For me, I have tried MANY different clearomisers, cartos etc.. I have found the BEST system for me is a simple Smoktech dual coil cartomiser. In your case if you decide to get Ego batteries you would use a Smoktech single coil 1.5 or 2 ohm. Many people here on the forum like the Vivi Nova clearomisers, and I can't stand them as I feel the flavor gets muted. The great thing is that there are all of these options. Most of which are fairly inexpensive. Make sure you have back-ups. Someone mentioned earlier Pbusardo videos (google Taste Your Juice for the link to his site) You tube videos are great as well. Welcome to the forum! Additionally, I highly recommend Ahlusion e liquid. They have some of the best tobacco flavors on the market.

Looks like a good choice. This lets you try bottom coil and top coil clearos. The protank will be top heavy but it gives you the larger tank you are looking for and will grow with you if you decide on bigger mods.

Also I have had good luck with DV as a vendor.

Again, thank you.

So... I think I am narrowing down to an order....

I have this in my cart:

DV eGo-T Starter Kit - 900mah (1)
Kanger ProTank (1)
Kanger ProTank Coil Replacement **5 Pack - 1.8-2.1 ohms (1 five pack)
eGo C Twist D - 900mah VV - Stainless (1)
DV CE5 Coil Head - 2 Long Wick - 2.4ohms (5)

Minus juice, have I procured all that I really need to start up with based on my goals? Any other replacement parts that I need to keep on hand than what I put in?

I really appreciate it.

I'll just add to the advice here - don't buy a lot of juice at once. MBV is an excellent vendor and I get most of my juice from them - but their tobaccos are hit and miss. I highly recommend just getting 15mls of a couple of different flavors to see if you like them before taking the plunge and buying a lot.

The sampler from Halo is a good option too - you'll get 6 X 7mls of juice for about $20 if you use the code Freedom when ordering.

I'll second that about MBV tobacco flavors. I bought several bottles of tobacco flavor and was really disappointed. I couldn't even vape them. However I love most of the other flavors I have gotten from them.

You would be better with a t3 on an ego battery IMO. It holds the same amount of juice as a protank! Or just go with dv evod kit instead and get a ce5 to try ce5s are not that great. I personally think you will be frustrated with them, the draw is tight, dry hits are more of a problem, and performance is lackluster compared with bottom coils.

I had much better luck with bottom coils, especially if your going to use vg juice. If you want a bigger tank on on ego I would go with the new vision victory tank. Vision always has quality products. Dv new products section for half the price. I am not impressed with protank. You don't need it..

One nice thing about the bottom coils is I you start to get a dry hit you can unscrew the tank a bit till you see some bubbles rise and quickly get juice to the coils.

Safety is number one concern with a two year old you don't want anything that can pull apart easily and dump juice on your little one. Keep you juices locked up and make sure you have child proof caps on juice.

High nic will give th, but if your like me and love vaping so much you start chain vaping 24 may make you nic sick. So do order some but also order some 18, 14/16,and 12 just so you have it on hand. Strength will depend on how much you vape. All day or a session every hour or so, it will depend.

Welcome to the forum! And good luck it's a great ride.

Looks like you picked out a decent startup to vaping. I'm sure you will love it. As others have said, you will probably eventually want to try different clearos, tanks, carts. That's the fun part at first with vaping is there are so many great products to try. Everyone loves different clearos, etc., and flavors. There is no wrong way of enjoying a good Vape. It's a personal experience. My main recommendation is always have your ego battery turned down to the lowest voltage when trying a new head or clearo so you don't accidentally burn your wick onto high a voltage. As soon as you twist it up and sense any slight burnt taste, hurry up and turn it back down.
