Vapor4Life is not DSE901. It is KR808D-1 and just happens to have the same threads as DSE901 though different airflow (901 expects a hole int he side of the atty or carto to provide airflow). I love the manual batteries (easier to get a good hit, safer from being damaged or killed by juice leaks)

KR808D-1 is the most voltage you can get in a slim ecig (3.7v - higher voltage than Ego and Inferno), I do find the cartos work best and longest for me with juices that have 20% or less VG and I avoid juices that drop a lot of flavoring sediment (that clogs the carto). I can get 1 to 1.5 weeks use out of one VaporLife WOW carto and many also like the SmokelessImage and Bloogplanet cartos.

But the fat batteries can get hotter than KR8 because they can use LR attys and cartos

Finding juices you like is a journey for sure. My only suggestion is try lots of tobaccos because you may be surprised what you like (I ended up liking Desert Ship from FSUSA as an analog alike - a Turkish American blend - surprise to me) and cocoa or chocolate added to tobacco (most US cigs have cocoa in them). And for food flavors, start with things you like in real life. And remember to smell the vapor - your tongue can only sense sweet, salty, sour, bitter and umami (msg)

Some juice's I like (and I use 20% or less Vg for cartos, or the WOW juices) - Vapor4Life WOWbacco which is a cocoa tobacco that's light on the tobacco (in the WOW tobacco shop sampler) and Vapor4Life WOW vanilla (sharp edged w/ nicotine and quite sweet like cotton candy). Gourmet Vapor vanillarum (vanilla w/ caramel and rum) and sign up so you get their sale emails (infrequent huge sales). For dripping I like the FreedomSmokeUSA 50/50 juices Hopscotch (like Honey and Butterscotch to me) and Voodoo (weird vaguely fruit vaguely cinnamon? aromatic but light), Velvet Vapors Vanilla Almond Tobacco and Raspberry Gingerale.

The question is how to find the perfect juice?

Start with a large fortune and watch it become a small one.

Seriously though, weigh your own tastes against the reviews and lots of trial and error are the keys. Also keep an open mind. For instance I didn't like the first RY4 I tried but have since tried ones from other vendors I really like. VS4 from Vapor Station is my current favorite variant.

If you really want to get into it, you can mix your own. 95% of what I vape is my own... You can really tweak and play with it until you like it. I mix up a chocolate dipped strawberry that's insane on the right day... And then there's another I mix that's the most bizarre mix of flavors that I happened upon by chance and really liked, so I duplicated it...

When you mix your own, you're really getting into a hobby that can take lots of your time, though, so be warned!
