First off, let me say that for the last 2 weeks or so I have been obsessively poring over as much info from this site that I could get to!!!

Just got 2 510 kits from Cignot, and two PCC's for me and my fiance.
I was hoping that you could help me with some of my questions!

Is it just me, or does the Marlboro high(18?) pre-filled carts seem somewhat dry? I have a little scrapey feeling in my throat from them (it's not as bad as it originally was after my first initial hour of vaping).

Does getting a mixture with VG help with the dry throat, or is it more an issue of the Joye Marlboro pre-filled carts? (if they indeed are Joye---There are black stickers on each cart, and one on the box, but the backside of the box has no sticker/seal)

I received my shipment at about 4pm and was vaping by 4:30! I went through my first cart in 2 1/2 hours--- is this right? Is it too much? Not enough? Is it just because I need a higher nic level?

I had ordered some Strictly E juice (Ry4 and Flue Cured) at 24mg and was beginning to hope that it would last longer, but then read more of the threads that I had been following about that supplier and realized that they are really inundated right now and I probably won't get it by tomorrow--- and that some folks are saying that some of the juice seems somewhat watered down...

There is a local guy that I had tried his new ecig (he just had gotten into selling) about three months ago that was real weak hitting and cost about $69 and only one ecig IIRC...I totally dismissed them since I could not get a good hit---anyways, he recently told me that he sells 30ml for $30 (definitely too much)... the question here is since his juice is probably Dekang, what flavor should I get while waiting that will deliver the goods.
As far as tobacco flavors, Marlboro Medium is what I am aiming for... Just realized that I could just buy a 10ml...

How many drops are in a 3ml bottle? Or better yet, how many times can I refill an empty-prior-prefilled cart from a 3ml bottle?

I want to next try that Atomic Fireball from Tasty Vapor, but feel that I want to get into mixing my own flavors too, so am considering getting 3 30ml Unflavored 36mg bottles for $30 from Mist Stix and adding the Capella flavorings I just scored from this site, well of course with some glyceryn (sp?).. which brings up that I am not sure about the VG because I was getting from what I could glean from the threads that VG will clog up your atty eventually...

I have a two-AA battery holder (NO switch---boo) that I may convert at some point to a mod, but also have been eyeballing the nose trimmer in the bathroom, since one thing that is very apparent is that I need longer battery life than the stock 510's...... I wonder if I could just convert the PCC into a mod?!?!

Is it okay to tamp the 510 at the LED to make the last bits of juice go towards the atty, or will it in someway hurt it?

My last analog was at 4:30, so I am at 9 hours and it seems as if the 2nd cart is starting to have less output...

First, the amount of juice in prefilled carts can vary widely - some are super saturated, others not. Secondly, VG and PG are desiccants - water absorbing so it is not uncommon for vapors to experience a dry throat. The solution is to drink plenty of fluids.

The other possibility is that there is a shipping/primer fluid which you should clean from the atomizer. It can be very harsh. See here:

There's a small percentage of people that have a reaction to PG but if you both are experiencing that - it is just likely you need more fluids but yes, VG would help if there's a problem with PG.

I don't perceive a problem with that. Whatever the one stick says is probably true.

Ymmv is widely used because of the personal differences in individuals. If you find yourself vaping constantly - two things - a new toy and your enjoying it, or you need more nicotine.

I won't comment on the quality of juice, etc. on any vendor, but if you have no juice you should get some or you'll be buying cigarettes soon. As a comment to new members reading this - ALWAYS buy juice with your first kit.

I wouldn't do that. Shake it down like a thermometer would be better.
