I actually used to get hiccups about once a week when smoking analogs. It wouldnt be a full-blown hiccup attack, because it would only happen when I would inhale the smoke. It also seemed to happen most often when it was cold and/or windy outside, and almost always late at night. I'm not exactly sure why.

For me personally I don't think I had anything to do with too much nicotine, as it didn't matter if it had been 20 minutes or two hours since my last cig.

Since buying my first PV kit and cutting way back on analogs I haven't had the hiccups once.

My cure for hiccups...

Light 2 or 3 paper matches and drop them into a small glass of water BEFORE the heads burn out. Drink it slowly and the hiccups stop! The matches will stick to the side of the glass, so you don't have to worry about choking on them.

My understanding of the way it works is this: Hiccups can be caused by little hairs in your throat sending mixed signals, and the carbon/sulfur in the burning match heads suppresses these hairs briefly, fixing the "short circuit" and stopping the hiccups.

It's an old bar trick, and always works for me. Good luck!

Don't think that's why your dog had hiccups Ms. Linrag, not enough nicotine in the exhaled vapor unless you're chain vaping for about 30 minutes breathing it directly in her face every night before bed. :)

It can be one of the reasons Ms. MK. Tonight when I get home will find and post the link of all the possible signs of too much nicotine. :)
