Paring down is always refreshing though! Plus, you can buy different stuff with your sale money!

That sounds positive ....I've been feeling a bit down about the whole process...I hate parting with my stuff lol

But whatever "profit" from the sale of this house (the way the economy is I'm sure we'll take a bit hit)... will go right into the fixer-upper place that we're moving to lol

In the last couple weeks I've put dozens of bags and boxes of stuff out for the local charities that come around every week for pick-ups looking for anything and everything. They turn it around and sell in local thrift shops! It seems to make somebody happy so that's good enough for me

There's a place in a town about twenty miles away we give our stuff too.

They sale what they can and the money goes to WE CARE. What's left gets donated to the Goodwill.

We just got back from looking at paint and carpet samples and both liked the same thing...that was easy

Painting we can do ourselves, but carpet ...not so much.

Spring cleaning here so we can put the place up for sale...not fun

Fixing up the new place we're moving to...an adventure and somewhat fun

yes... I picked out a few basically neutral colors I liked and so did he...we ended up with a lot of the same swatches ...so it was a no-hassle, no-argument fun thing!
