I really wish the quality of these things could improve. I know if they did, they would be much more expensive but I would pay extra for a "premium" line. There isn't a big enough market I would think for these things in the first place for a company to spend the time and money on a more expensive and quality product. The carts are ok but I think there should be a premium battery out there. Something that doesn't go bad that easily.

What do you guys think? I personally would pay $60 or $70 for a battery that was tough, pretty, made of higher quality materials, and had a high end quality control along with a warranty. It's like a BMW vs a KIA... KIA gets the job done but it's not the same. Materials, quality control, warranty, power, looks, ect... You pay more for a better looking and better built product.

What would you guys say to a V4L or other company "Premium" or "High End" line of batteries? I know GreenCig tried this but it's the same product just painted and wrapped prettier. I'm talking something really solid and high end you wont have to worry about for 6 months or so.

If you're not married to this form factor you can get PV devices that take very potent batts and have extreme control over power output and can take cartos or atomizers or tanks or whatever you want. I was looking at one hat had a USAF surplus switch rated for 100,000 uses that held three rechargeable batts that were good for vaping for a week of heavy use. Total cost for the unit plus once change of bats and a charger was somewhere around $100. The unit
itself is a little bigger than a pack of smokes.

But in this form factor (cigarette sized) to even double performance I think you'd be looking at crazy money. Right now vaping is depending on other technology sectors to invest in new kinds of batteries. Until someone needs a batt that will fit into a KR that is several times better for some reason that justifies millions in development and needs to make enough of them that they are mass produced I just don't think there is a possibility for fast progress.

Some stuff will always get better, new refining of metals for elements or conductors, etc. better buttons or LEDs, etc. But if you cut open your KR and traced every part in it I guarantee you every part in there is made and was designed for some other application (well, other than probably the contacts but tool and die for something like that is pretty easy these days relatively speaking).

This is coming from someone who has had 1.5 months of good luck with autos. I've hear others with manuals have had issues with buttons and a lot of people are talking about battery entropy lately so if my batts go ....-up soon I might change my tune right fricking fast. The button thing is a bit worrisome as I was thinking of going manual just due to potential for drip damage but the buttons are kind of ugly for something that might crap out after a few hundred clicks.

To Luma,
I love V4L stuff, but in poking around the net I found a site here in Michigan which sells what I think you might want and you can still use V4L carts on it if you want to. It's greatlakesvapor. Some may think I shouldn't mention the name but the point here, I assume, is to keep everyone vapong and not smoking and as Steve says "keep you smilin". I hope it helps.

I will be back in China the 25th, and will stay for a month. V4L will be the only company, with it's own factory, and my partner sells to Sony, LG, Toshiba, Dell, Hp, just to mention a few. We will have WORLD CLASS QC. This is why I am so damn determined to get everything done correctly.

I promise, V4L will be the industry LEADER, and put smiles on faces, worldwide.

Vape-On, and be prepared, to smile
