Lot of hype with gp mods imo. Yeah they are nice, but they are overpriced imo and not conducive to American style vaping (sub ohm) plus I don't get how you guys can enjoy looking at 300 paps in a row, but that's what seems to happen the minute someone posts one up.

Very true. I own and love my 2 GP mods and admit, I was a little influenced by this very GP-centric group. These fanboys ride HARD! Lol. But out of all my mods, I do enjoy my Bay City Vapors mods most. They're like an American V8 with fat headers. They just hit hard. I have more Nems than anything, which also hit harder than my GP's. The GP's are real classy though and I just had to have some in my collection.

diversity is pretty nice though.

What's the difference between the bcv 29 and the surf rider? Just engravings? Apologize for ruining mod porn with a question but a shop has a Surfrider and trying to pinch pennies and hope all pans out.

the differences are that the XXIX is made of copper and the Surfriders are either brass or stainless steel. They also have different logos. on the tube.

That's what I wanted to hear bro! How's the throw/ weight / feel on that BCV button?

i like it the most of my recessed buttons. does require a frequent cleaning of the edge of the button and the contact area of the switch. i clean mine every 3 days with heavy use and five days in a rotation.this requires disassembling the switch which gets to be fairly easy after a time or two. got a PM coming for you on this very subject :)

Cleaning the contacts is easy though. Just rub with a white eraser. Don't even have to disassemble. Just make sure to blow the rubber debris off and wipe with a papertowel. I've been told the white eraser is an old electricians trick. Doesn't scratch the surface or remove any plating

the contact on a BCV switch is made between the side of the switch itself and the ID of the housing. turns very dark and misfires. these switches require disassembly to get to the ID of the switch. i will definitely try the eraser trick as i have been worried about using up the material between the switch and housing to the point it wouldn't fire. thanks. <*}}}>{
