I appreciate it, I don't mean to be a bioch about it, I'm not mad I'm disappointed... The v3 uses a different spring I believe, it's bigger thicker and runs around the center where the 2.5 fits in the hole with the button shaft.

Unlocked with a havy atty?I appreciate it, I thought about the mcr but I don't like locking rings. Can it stand up with a heavy atty?

my mcr with all 3 magnets can stand unlocked with my rocket on top of it.
if you don't want a locking ring, there are flush button switches available as well. from the reviews, it seems a lot of people like them.
I have a condo in Dana Point, 5 min away from BCV, quite a bit closer than Europe for any reason I need parts, or if it's a total pos I'd like to be able to go shove it down someone's throat. Jk of course.
But in all seriousness, it's as small as it gets in 650 pretty much.
Vdrop is as good as it gets.
It will handle, AND HANDLE WELL any sub ohm builds I can throw at it.
Recessed, smooth, nice, button. Which is what I consider to be most important in a tube mod as the other aspects should be given in a high dollar / quality device.
Personally I like stainless steel, but I prefer performance more. I have been using vinyl wraps on all my mods; negating any need for polishing as well as keeping the scratches and dings off so I think I'll be happy with the copper tube.
How low do you build your attys?i honestly couldn't really tell the difference in voltage drop from my XXIX and Surfrider (stainless steel), so i barely used my XXIX. i only use stainless steel mods now. a good design should make the voltage drop not a factor (in terms of what you can feel at least)
That does really suck that your having issues with your Paps. I've been running .4 dual 26g on my V3 and X with no heat issues. Button doesn't even get warm well maybe if I'm really chain vaping but it's not even close to be hot. Are you running it in 18650 with good batteries? I know people's mileage may very it just sucks that your even getting a hot button with a .9 build which just doesn't sound right or normal and think that there really is something wrong. I hope you can get it sorted out.
I'm running my Heron at .8 single 26g coil on 18500 with no issues a well.
