someone asked me to take picture of using mesh wicks in the viking, so here it is. much easier than it sounds, torch the hell out of the mesh like 5 or 6 times so you dont get any shorts, then roll it into a straw and use it just like you would a silica wick. youll never ever burn it so its much more convinient. it doesnt hold as much juice, but the well in the viking holds about 1 ml without leaking so thats not a problem for me. in a shallower atty deck you could lay some cotton down on the bottom to hold juice.. i cant see myself ever using anything else, ever. for real this is great!!!

The design is a bit much IMO. I don't know if the mod I'm looking for is out there, but I want to get a 18650 with a simple design like a Manhattan but smaller. I was about to get a black Manhattan but I tested my friends and the throw is way too resistant and I don't like that it isn't 22mm diameter.

Have you tried an XXIX, the throw is kinda hard but I'm comparing it to a paps lux which is as light as it gets, and you can't really get smaller than the XXIX with the hybrid adapter. Best vdrop, super clean lines.. What's not to love.... You could pay more for an mcr, but I doubt it will outperform the XXIX.

I've been checking out the XXIX only problem is I'm no longer a big fan of the copper look. I got tired of it I guess. I'm on the hunt for a mech that isn't SS/Brass/Copper. That's why I was sort of intrigued by the DRIFT mech mod, not sure how well the aluminum tubes will work but I really do like the look. Honestly, if I don't find anything, I'm probably going to end up with a red or black Manhattan.

its been a while.....
i am loving the tobh v2.5.....and the tobh/cartel family....
still on the prowl for a tobh copper dt for aesthetics....
the only clone i have ever owned- a Chobh V3 that vapes like a locomotive with 22awg nuke hotwire....on my self-modded Chi Megan 318 (silver plated brass spring for center post, fat brass spring for switch = functional mod!)

Been lurking (with the occasional post) far too long... It's about time I participated with photos of my mods...

My new Nemesis 30 matte edition with Origen v2 and 22mm polished airflow adapter:

My Atmomixani collection from left to right:
Nemi mixed matte edition in 14650 mode with brushed brass Anima
Nemesis mixed matte edition with new flat top cap and Kayfun v1
Nemesis VW edition with flat top cap (replaces FT clone - would have had the Origen v2, now on Nemesis 30 - maybe need another)
Brass Nemesis (new engraving) with Dome and polished brass airflow control ring (needs polished brass drip tip)
Nemesis 30 with 22mm polished airflow adapter ring and Origen v2

The rest of my mods (some questionably not so "high-end"), from left to right:
Penny mod with IGO-W & MAD cap + MAD drip tip
Atomo with Omega
iTaste 134 with crappy tank it came with (don't use much, but love the design)
Dreadnaut (hybrid) with Mammoth drip tip, quad coil @ 0.14ohms
BaGua 17mm (mixed with the one next to it) with IGO-S & Cap-it-All (self polished)
BaGua 17mm with Arrow (Ekowool over steel cable)
CoolFire II with HH357 + Molehill Mountain Arts oak drip tip (my taster mod)
ProVari with extension cap and Zen Z-Atty Pro (original version) also with Molehill Mountain Arts drip tip

Random - Surprised that this thread never saw much of any of the Nucleus rda by Mojo. Knowing it was last week's news I thought there were fans of his here local.

There's just so much out/coming out nowadays it's just about impossible to get everything one wants :\

wow did you make that? if not, whered you get it?
Yeah I made it, I wanted a bottom feeder that would handle the lowest sub ohm builds with no problems, be sturdy enough to throw in the ground, have virtually no vdrop and hold 10ml without being any taller than provari mini, and sit flush with 22mm attys. I use it everyday, it's my favorite.

Lol I appreciate it, I built it BC a reo wouldn't handle the abuse I wanted to throw at it... It holds ten ml. Runs cold with the LOWEST builds possible and has stupid low vdrop. And you can latterly run it over with a truck. I couldn't be happier with the outcome, granted it's a "prototype" so I could have made it a little bit prettier but it turns out the finish I love the most is right off the mill. You can see the machining lines in it looks great imo. I was thinking about polishing it up to a mirror finish, also maybe media blasting, but I like it how it is. I'll post pics of some of the finishes I was considering if you want.
Thanks again for the kind words!

No, no my friend. There are several of us over here who have a nucleus. I posted a pic of it over there yesterday morning. Wonderful rda. The only drawback is it'll leak onto the top cap if you load up too much (the well is not that deep). Nothing major, miniscule amounts, but a leak nevertheless. I think it's a fantastic rda, but I can see why it will only appeal to certain people. Where did you see it in the news?
No, I forgot completely about it for a long while and was offered a trade yesterday for something I own. I have read quite a bit on the issues and Bill highlights almost verbatim many of them. I quickly turned down the offer. Not to mention I'm not a huge fan of Mojo's personality.
I just don't see many at all on any of the forums and just hit me even on Ukv, nothing.
I'm glad you are enjoying yours, that's great to hear.

Idaho,
Its old news indeed, in a lot of forums. I sold mine due to leakage. I loved the build style, very simplistic. Was not much for adjusting though. The entire setup had to come out in order to adjust. Never could get the flavor I wanted. Definite cloud producer though.
I think your spot on as usual B. I must of been sleeping that week :)

Thanks Idaholandho, I actually thought of you when I put it together...I know you like simple clean lines too :D
Yeah man, it just flows. I've looked at it several times and simply dig it.

On another note, I am definitely moving the Odin past the Origens. As much as I have loved Norbert's drippers, I can't get over the Odin. Easier setup and build to build the flavor is that much better imo.
I had to order another.

@Tbev nice work. I am impressed. It's always nice to see the enthusiasm you have.
It looks like an aluminum pdib bf.
Not sure what you have for contacts but, if looking, check out Robs sub ohm kit on reosmods.com.
They are incredible and I've used 2 sets, they rock.
Anyway, keep doin what you do, love it.
